Twisted Insurrection is a critically acclaimed, standalone modification based on the Command & Conquer™ Tiberian Sun™ engine. It features a complete redesign of the original game, set in an alternate "what-if?" timeline where the Brotherhood of Nod was victorious during the first Tiberian War. Do you have what it takes to drag the shattered Global Defense Initiative out of ruin? Or will you crush all who oppose the will of Kane and his Inner Circle? The choice is yours commander.
A Forsaken armour column heading to their next raid.
Auto.. Forsaken, roll out!
Next thing you know they'll be riding Elder Tiberium Raptors.
make it happen!
"Here we are
We are at war
Far from home
Fighting for
Survival"
I love the addition of the forsaken ...
...
...
So are you gonna add a certain forsaken sniper?
Good question.
But I do have to say another anti-infantry hero seems redundant with all of the work being put in already, unless she's got another quirk going for her.
Could give her a .50 cal maybe. Or a EMP grenade launcher.
Or maybe virus inspired, fires liquid tiberium/tiberium dissolved into a liquid - victim rapidly mutates - oh wait thats the infector.
Get a female voice actor to redo the infector, edit the audio all to hell, say you meant to do it all along, and there you have her! :P
Is that in keeping with the spirit of Umagon's character, though?
I mean, sure the Forsaken aren't the hopeful resistance fighters the Forgotten might have been, tonally speaking, but I don't think employing the ghastlier weapons of Nod clarifies their battle doctrine.
Jeff, I wasn't talking about putting Umagon the hero unit back on the roster as a glorified reskin, I half-jokingly suggested the team modify the Infector unit itself to imply it being/having been her.
Would probably drive home the point of just how ****** things are for the mutants, I guess...because that's totally what's needed at this point.
Headcanon: She was The Infector from "The Infector Program".
She could have gone rogue afterwards (somehow), because if you name a faction "The Forsaken", might as well get a Sylvanas Windrunner expy.
(I'm sooo getting negative karma for this.)
With the associated price tag, I'd say Nod would make damn sure an Infector wouldn't stray from the path set by Kane at all times.
(Or, ya know...at least the inner circle.)
And as a backup, plenty of Vipers and Howitzers would likely happen to be close to wherever an Infector is stationed.
Are they allies with Globotech or GDI or just a darker version of the Forgotten faction?
They're not particularly friendly with anyone outside of their clans.
