For me it is not dead.
As long as I play it it will be alive. :)

(What I am trying to say is if more people would stop complaining they maybe will understand how much people appriciate it.)

Even if they never will work on it I enjoy the mod greatly.

The mod dies when there is no longer active development of it.

I's an OK mod, played it now for about 5 hours or so and i must say, it is fun but buggy as hell. Won't start it up anymore untill there comes a new update.

There is just too much that is buggy

The developers unfortunately stopped work on the mod for good so there won't be any updates released. It's a shame really but that's life.

The full version isn't out yet, so I'm going to hold back on a full review until then. However, I do have a couple of things to point out until then.

1)Not all muskets would be reloaded at the same speed. Putting aside the fact that every person is different, and some will reload the muskets faster (which isn't practical for warband mods) there were fast-loading muskets even at that time. Those were called dragoon rifles (but I'm sure you already know that...)

2)I see pirate garb in the game, but no pirates. I find that strange; unless the pirates are REALLY rare, because I've been playing this mod for a couple of months now, and I've never found any.

Those are sailors garb, not pirates.
