yeah but this will be changed maybe for other color or other thing

Why not? a secured head, is a zombie less =P ... but most likely, is to change it for something else
Well if you look at photos of some real scientists from SERN they do sometimes wear safety helmets in certain areas as regulation requires it.
& speaking of the red helmet that's the same color that the guys at SERN use so it kinda makes sense.

If you get a map editor he can edit valve's maps so that you have diferent scientists and just these ones because it would be stupid seeing only these guys and especially in non-toxic areas..
I think scientist with hemlet is a bad idea
