How to I verify the mod files?(It keeps crashing on load screen) All I see is the "General" Tab. It would be very nice if you could respond.
same here, it shows the valve logo "kind of" and at the main menu, it shows that it's loading, and then it crashes :( i really wanted to play it, but i quess it is broken for me
Please read the installation instructions. This mod uses the source SDK 2013 singleplayer base. You will need to install that, then open its properties and set your beta version to "upcoming".
Fairly new to PC gaming and HL2 mods but I've been doing great so far. I have SDK 2013 installed. When I right click and open properties I cannot find anything to do with beta anywhere. Any suggestions? Thanks.
**EDIT** Figured that out, I was trying from my desktop shortcut, not in Steam under tools.
Now my issue is with trying to use my 360 controller. None of the buttons work and the sticks are swapped with no vertical look. I've tried a few things but still nothing. Any advice?

I did have it installed when i posted this comment, i don't remember why it didn't work, though i did get it somehow fixed for me though i don't remember how!!!

I don't see this game in the Steam library.I didn't drag the folder into the steamapps/sourcemods directory as I simply installed it from the file (usual habit)to that folder.
Should I have done to the letter what you mentioned? I sorted out the SourceSDK Base 2013 Singleplayer step, and it is setup accordingly.
this has to be the dumbest quest mod for HL2 i think i have ever played in my entire life. that will be 10 minutes of my life i will never get back that i just wasted. And i was even excited for this man!!! all it is is literally a you being plopped down in the middle of an area with a ton of npcs shooting at one another. The map design is terrible. Just don't even waste your time with this, this must've been like a middle school project or something...it has to be, there's no way this too more than a day to make in garry's mod, if that.
