TrueCombat:ELITE is a totaly FREE modification for a totally FREE game Wolfenstein:EnemyTerritory
TrueCombat:ELITE is being Co-Developed by GrooveSix Studios and TeamTerminator together they are indeed ELITE :)
The game will place you into the role of either an elite Counter Terrorist Organisation known as GIF626 or into the role of a crazed mercenary group know as the The Unit
GIF626 (Global Interception Force) are comprised of many Special Forces, British SAS, Swedish ONI, US Delta force, to mention a few. GIF626 was formulated to combat and iNtercept the rise in international terrorism on a larger global front.
The Unit are a well organised and well funded mercenary group that is hell bent on causing havoc anywhere at anytime. These guys thrive on combat and are a hardcore opponet of GIF626

The last post here was way back in December/January when the ModDB MOTY was in action. Since then I am not sure whether someone has put something in our food but there has been some incredible (even if I do say so myself) work being done.
Firstly Liquid has overhauled (I was going to put facelift but that didn't quite cut it) the player skins. These have not only had a lick of paint but a whole fresh look and feel to them.
Bruce45...where do I start? He's undergone some operation to remove any for of requirement for sleep and has pulled so many things out of the bag I think magicians have a hard time catching up! We have a new M4 SOPMOD, M68 aimpoint, and last but by no means least a G3.
I dare you to go the picture gallery or visit the Dev blogs over at the main site (http://www.truecombatelite.net) and not want to get your fix of TCE.
Lastly I myself have taken a my first step towards content development insanity by having a go at trying to fix the floating gun. I think we might just get there with having a gun actually sat ON you hand and not floating above it ;)

Great! I would suggest having the mod compatible with Track IR.
WTF? I have to load 4 hours and 22 minutes at 2 mb Internet! Its one of the fastest net systems on Finland but 4 hours? God damn i will twist my balls off my body if it says "ERROR" when i start to play!
I've played this mod for some time now and I have enjoyed it. It's got awesome gameplay, great graphics and pretty good sound. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who likes tactical shooters.
I hope the development pace gets faster, because I really can't wait for new updates!
Man everytime i join a server it quits the game and takes me to a site that says i need to enter so and so in my server config. But Im not sure how! and why?
Its funny to look at all the people here who ask for help but are too lazy to go to the actual site of the mod and ask on the forums ;)

ok mod ; but still needs lots of work. I've never seen such weird smoke grenades and the sounds of exploding grenades could be some random thing falling down.
It's a shame the character models look so incredibly cartoonish since they're based on the stock ET models.
This mod is 5/5. Tested yesterday on LAN, 6x6, ran smooth and with no errors (1 DS + 12 LAN Clients).
Most of the players were regular CS (1.6 and Source) shooters, and we really enjoyed the experience.
Small glitches on some maps, and it runs on a somehow dated 3D engine, but..., it's sweet!!!! Q3 FTW.
