Triptych is an artistic experiment in story telling set in the Lovecraftian horror genre, written and developed by C-zom. With a focus on imagery and atmosphere, the story itself only loosely describes - in reverse chronology - the death of a man named Jeremiah Stone. The first chapter explores the emotions of sadness and loneliness, and explains how he dies. The second chapter settles on revenge, with a foreboding vibe and grim story telling narrative. The final chapter explains why he was cursed and killed from his actions half a century ago, and absolute horror and fear are explored.

Please read the manual fully for advice, installation instructions, Crysis-related tips and footnotes.
0: Play on Very High settings, it looks terrible due to Crysis scaling on anything below.
1: Extract Triptych_1.2 anywhere on your computer
2: Move the folder Triptych to Crytek/Crysis/Mods
E.G: I.imgur.com
(If folder Mods does not exist, create it)
3: Proceed to below instructions

Playing Instructions

-Launch Crysis and activate triptych in the mods menu. Restart Crysis, and go through the New Game menu as if you were starting the base game. Be sure to pick Normal difficulty. Triptych should now start. You may save and load at any time during the experience.

We've updated the install instructions significantly. Now all you need to do is activate Triptych in the Mods Menu in-game every time you play, then you're good to go. Just use the New Game function.
Hmm, time to re-install Crysis.
Very High settings? Why this **** happens to me?
Dammit, maybe I'm gonna try anyhow, hopefully since this wont have Koreans shooting at me maybe my GPU wont die...
Chapter 1 is pretty graphically intense but I did my best to make it run at 30fps on VH on mid-high end computers. The reason why VH is required is because Crysis Graphics Scaling ruins all the atmosphere, and it looks like cel-shaded weirdness on High or Medium.
I know the stereotype is all Crysis mods=tropical islands and koreans, but my mods are far from the case. I use the engine to make horror mods. No nanosuit, no powers, no guns, etc.
when i launch it and type in the console map chapter1 it says it is a unknown command. is there any one who could help?

A new patch has been released that fixes this occasional bug. Now you can just use the New Game button after activating it in the mod menu.
