Description of the TRIBESai mod:

TRIBESai is a mod that adds artificial intelligence into the multiplayer games of Tribes Vengeance
There are also a few maps included so you can find out what the Tribes Vengeance AI is able to do.
You are also able to create your own botenabled maps by using the MP-template.tvm map.
In this template you can find all the things you need scripts, bots with abilities, goals and roles, vehicle-scripts to make them usable for bots ...
At the moment the mod is only for CTF
the bots are able to defend the flag, enter turrets, go for the flag, use vehicles, repair equipment ...
You need the a map designed for the TRIBESai-mod to get the Bots working
But there are some maps included.

Instructions
- Install the mod and the maps
- start the mod with the .bat file in the TVai folder
- make a host with one of the bot maps
- in the game you can find near the Imperial or Phoenix base the AI-Configuration-Console
- switch on the bots (2 per switch, only VehicleBots 3) you want to play with

Known bug: the AI-Configuration-Console can only be seen right by the Admin and not by the clients - dont know why yet

you get the error if other players want to join.

Each player must start TV with the TribesAI mod otherwise you get this error, because the Mod uses modified packages.
So you have to check this:
If you or the other Players start the game with the mod you/they will see an other startup screen with TRIBESai on it and in the menu you will see also the logo of TRIBESai

-i need an opject (console) that can be seen also by the clients,
-on this object should be my texture with the informations (Defense1 ...)
-i need a switch to trigger a script (or a trigger, but in this case i need also an indicator per trigger to show which bots are on/off)

i hope someone wants to help me, because i dont want botenable more maps til i havent solved this bug

moving laterally relative to the bots definitely helps to evade =).

regarding crashes, we have not had any recently, nor could we reproduce them. the few that we did have occurred at the end of matches--once on a client, once on the server, so no idea where it could be coming from. however, since they were at the end of a match, they werent very annoying.

i have tested a lot of settings for the bots and i think they have 1 advantage and 1 disadvantage:
they shoot really good but they are not so fast as a human player.
It is possible to set the shotAngularDeviation. at the moment i have set it to 2 degrees this means the bots have a deviation of 2 degrees. 0 degrees means they have 100% midairs :-)
i have testet also more than 2 degrees, but this has the bad effect, that the bots wont hit sationary things like turrets :-(.
So the best way to have success is to move sideways and to learn learn learn.
You will see, that you will become more better with good bots than with bad bots.

@crashes
do you have crashes on the clients or on the server?
with the old maps you got crashes while using vehicles maybe you have on of the old maps or one of the new maps has this error inside

a couple problems we've been having, though, besides a few random crashes that we cant consistently reproduce (and dont seem to occur often anyway).

1) is there any way to change the AI accuracy? they seem to be midair discing us a _bit_ too often... if we put 4 bots on defense with a turret or two, it's a pretty impenetrable phalanx...

2) i think someone else mentioned they also had this problem, but our crosshairs disappear in-game... tried reinstalling the originals as well as in the pack you linked to, but that doesnt seem to do it.
not a _huge_ deal, since we're managing pretty well, but it'd definitely help..
