This mod is a “Revival”, that is, a continuation of the original Trek Wars mod made by SMG Modding team. The “original” Revival team (led by Kavok) added factions such as the Klingons, Romulans and Dominion as opposed to the SMG Modding Team that had only added the Federation. Now, a new team, led by Imperial aim to continue these teams’ great work by refining their work and adding brand new content. Our progress has been slow, but we have been working on a new release that will add a lot of new content, and with the help of new team members, our team is producing more content than ever before!
Shinzon's deadly vessel, the Scimitar squaring off against Tyber Zann's Peacebringer. This battle against the Zann Consortium on Medium was pretty damn hard, however once you've saved up enough to get Shinzon and use him properly the balance begins to tide in your favour...
I'm assuming the offensive capability will be somewhat comparable to the Executor
with the Thalaron weapon and all.
Ohh yes, the Scimitar is extremely deadly, stronger than the Jem'Hadar Dreadnought and although I have not been able to put it up in a fight against the Executor I expect it'll put up a fair fight. If the Scorpion Attack Fighters it deploys are used correctly it could do even more...
I was wanting to use its Thaleron weapon somehow, but in skirmish mode I've not seen anything that can attack planets except the Death Star. In the mean time however I've given it "Shinzon Theta", a weapons and engines buff.
Perhaps the Thalaron weapon instead destroys any enemy armies ground units and structures on planets instead of the planet itself.
Good idea, I'll have a look into this. And a good way to stop someone just simply spamming such an ability would be to force Shinzon to respawn some time after using the ability, kind of like what happens with 3PO and R2D2 when they steal tech.
Excellent Idea, Perhaps in Skirmish the Scimitar can use the same fire mechanics as the flamethrower IG-88 has to create an area attack in a cone in front of it damaging all ships and hard points in the area functioning as an anti-fleet super weapon.
