We added the Federation as playable faction into FoC.With following updates we want to add the Klingons, the Romulans and the Borg too, depending on the feedback we get.


Trek Wars 2.0 - Rage of War

Plot: After the Crew of the Enterprise failed to prevent the assasination seen in "Star Trek: The undiscovered Country" the Federation and the Klingons are on open war. Choose your side and lead them to victory.

In skirmish you are able to battle all factions - StarWars vs. Star Trek :)

Resizing several federation Ships

Update to Version 2
Adding Federation Units of the Kirk Era
Adding new Faction: Klingon Empire (Picard & Kirk Era)
adding new Galaxy Conquest: "Undiscovered Country at War"
A conquest based on the movie "The undiscovered Country" but the Enterprise crew was not able to prevent the Assasination, and so Federation and Klingons are at open War

5) I have noticed some glitches, or errors. One of which is with the Defiant. The info box still says "Millennium Falcon". The icon is completely absent, so it is invisible while in the reinforcement box and has no pretty picture of Sisko's face. Voyager's info is also inaccurate as it says "Executor SSD” and lists the according info. Other ships may have incorrect info as well. Another problem I had was really annoying… The heroes are not re-purchasable. Once they die, as they do on occasion, you can’t get them back. If this is on purpose than that’s fine, but if it’s not supposed to be that way… It would be a good thing to fix. A last problem is that when the ships are killed, the model is simply replaced with an explosion. There’s no rubble. No death clone. That isn’t completely necessary, but again, it would be nice to have. It makes the battles that much more exciting. =-)

6) I haven’t played a land battle yet, but I have a feeling the Federation doesn’t have anything… Is so, land needs some work.

7) As far as the Space Station, I like all of the current stages. They’re great. But I think the texturing on a few of them is a bit low-quality. I can’t complain, but you may want to change that up a bit.

8) Finally, I will list some possible civilizations I think it would be really cool to add.
1) Borg.
2) Romulan
3) Cardassian / Dominion / Breen
4) Klingon
5) Species 8472? I know there’s not much to go on, but that’d be awesome!

Obviously, I can’t expect you to listen to me, but these are some suggestions from a fan. I wish your mod luck, and can’t wait till there are other Trek races to fight! Can we have an estimation of the time 'till the next release?

This mod is absolutely brilliant! I love it! I can suggest a few improvements though. Feel free to ignore me, but there are some improvements that I feel could be made. It should be taken into account that I am a die-hard Trek fan and a lot of this is probably just me and my Trekkie side gone mad. First off, let me say that this mod is awesome and it gives EaW new life.

1) Phasers should be on all ships, down to the shuttlecraft, for authenticity. Just have different colors accordingly and different strengths. Possibly photons as well. Photons should be on most ships and should fire a bit more often. It didn't seem like they were firing as often as they should have. The Excelsior should have had photons, as well as several other ship classes such as the Intrepid. I understand a lot of the projectile changes were made to keep to the whole feel of EaW, but I figure you can keep that while still giving us die hard fans a really authentic mod. The phasers of larger ships should be able to target fighters. Again, this is probably because cap. ships shouldn't be able to target small ships, but it really bugs me for some reason.
2) On the Medical Variant of the Nebula-Class, the healing was practically useless due to the range. I found myself unable to move any large ship close enough to be healed. The cap ships move very sluggishly due to the design of EaW and this makes them less maneuverable than I would have hoped. They cannot move short distances, and thus they are difficult to control. If modding can change that in any way, it would help a lot.
3) The turrets have remained un-changed. Some phaser and photon turrets would be really cool. They would also keep in the whole spirit of the mod.
4) While I am extremely impressed with the whole thing, especially the sheer number of unit classes that are available, I would strongly recommend adding as many more as you can. I just love being able to control a varied fleet of ships and the look it has is just... awesome.

i finaly found a way to play it i found the problem and if you are using the gold pack just install the contents to the decktop and then cut and paste the content of the mods tw folder to the game dierectory and then play
