Satan, Prince of Darkness, Ruler of Hell, and bleeding-heart chopper fan, has had the long-time dream of competing in the NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle races.The only thing keeping him from joining the races: God and his inglorious imposition. Satan knows, however, that if he rounded up a group of damned individuals and put together a team of would-be competitive motorcycle racers, he could sneak them onto earth to compete in his stead (Satan liked better the idea of being a coach anyway). So, Satan makes Super-Hell, a racetrack comprised of grotesque environs, wicked jumps, tight turns, and the baddest of the bad in terms of those who’d been damned to hell. Unlike regular Hell, the folks sent to Super-Hell aren’t left to cook unendingly in fire and brimstone; they’re pitted against each other in motocross combat so that the worst can be weeded out and the best can rise up to lead “Team Satan” to victory in the NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle race. Thus begins TREAD, a battle/race between four ungodly individuals fighting to become the leader of Team Satan.

Is a Motorcycle racing game, that features fast intense racing. Kill or be killed is the name of the game.

Right now we are hard at work on the Tread Mod. At this time we still do not know when the general public will be seeing a working version of the Tread Beta. That is still way off in the future, however you can expect to see some pretty exciting things over the next few months. We really can't give away to much though so I am afraid this will conclude the little update. The progress is good! Also be sure to be checking on the official Tread site for all the latest Tread updates! They happen there before ModDB!

lol whats the name of the song in the first demo and the name in the last demo in that video.
I didn't watch the whole video... But the very first sound clip is from 'Public Domain'. They're a techno group or DJ that use quite a few of Public Enemy's sound cuts from what I remember. Awesome tune! ;)
I've been looking for a promising racing mod and i've only seen a couple. But they are either dead or not released. So please don't let this die if possible. Two questions though, not sure if u posted this but how many different vehicles are there. Q2: When the bike tips over, instead of it magically coming up back up why don't you put some lighting effects on the side (similar to jets) so it looks like its pushing itself back up. Can you guys release a vid or multiple bikes racing at the same time?
There are 4 different bikes one for each character.
The bikes will just respawn it a magic little poof. It is set in hell after all so demonic magic is a must have. Plus it's just easier that way on the programmers. Plus all the bikes would have to be re rigged to shoot jets out the side.

I don't know if you have condidered it yet. I guess you have. But you should implement leaning the bike in curves.
Keep it up, great concept arts, good work so far.
Oh yeah we have much improved physics now. But it's still an on going thing with these bikes. Unreal was not designed to have 2 wheeled vehicles so we have to use invisable training wheels on the back end so finding a happy medium on their stiffness has been a pain to say the least. But we should have some new videos within the next few weeks showing off more of the bikes.
