TradeMod is an addon mod for C&C 3 that allows players to send assistance to team members in the form of tiberium, units and defences. This is our first modding project for C&C3 and as such we dont expect it to rock the C&C world, but we do hope a few of you out there will like the extra options it gives you. This mod only works with human players, AI players will not use the new trade units

This is the very first release of TradeMod for CnC3 Tiberium Wars. The mod is still incomplete mainly due to inadequate art.

The main principle of the mod is to send transports of varying kind to your team mate, deploy the units, and have your Ally capture them with their 'Envoy' unit. To Build any of the new units will require you to build a 'Trade Centre' which is available on the main build queue screen.

The Transports can also be destroyed/disabled by the enemy and then captured, much like husk of avatars, juggernauts and annihilator tripods

The new units are:-

-Name: Envoy (GDI/NOD/Scrin)
-Description: This is needed to capture your team mates Trade units. Click on the Trade Device button on the HUD and click on the building to capture.

-Name: Tiberium Transport (GDI/NOD/Scrin)
-Description: This unit is used to transport 5000 Tiberium to your team mate. This fast moving unit has no weapons and light armour so be careful not to let it be destroyed.
-Unpacks into: Tiberium Bank

-Name: Mammoth Tank Transport (GDI)
-Description: The Mammoth Tank Transport is a slow moving unit with medium armour that contains a Mammoth Tank.
-Unpacks into: Mammoth Tank Hanger

-Name: Avatar Transport (NOD)
-Description: Same as the Mammoth Tank Transport, only contains an Avatar instead.
-Unpacks into: Avatar Hanger

-Name: Annihilator Tripod Transport (Scrin)
-Description: Same as the Mammoth Tank Transport, only contains an Annihilator instead.
-Unpacks into: Annihilator Hanger

-Name: Sonic Tech Transport (GDI)
-Description: This slow moving, lightly armoured transport will unpack into a crane. Capture with your Envoy to enable the construction of Sonic Emitters.
-Unpacks into: Sonic Emitter Tech Crane

-Name: Obelisk Tech Transport (NOD)
-Description: Same as the Sonic Tech Transport, only unpacks into an Obelisk Tech Crane instead.
-Unpacks into: Obelisk Tech Crane

-Name: Storm Coloum Tech Transport (Scrin)
-Description: Same as the Sonic Tech Transport, only unpacks into a Storm Coloum Tech Crane instead.
-Unpacks into: Storm Coloum Tech Crane

 

The new buildings are:-

-Name: Trade Centre (GDI/NOD/Scrin)
-Description: This building is required to build all of the new trade units. Requires Power Station and Refinery.

-Name: Tiberium Bank (GDI/NOD/Scrin)
-Description: Capture the Tiberium Bank with your Envoy and sell to recieve 5000 tiberium.
Sell for: 5000 Tiberium

-Name: Mammoth Tank Hanger (GDI)
-Description: Capture the Mammoth Tank Hanger with your Envoy and sell to recieve the Mammoth Tank contained inside.
-Sell for: Mammoth Tank

-Name: Avatar Hanger (NOD)
-Description: Capture the Avatar Hanger with your Envoy and sell to recieve the Avatar contained inside.
-Sell for: Avatar

-Name: Annihilator Hanger (Scrin)
-Description: Capture the Annihilator Tripod Hanger with your Envoy and sell to recieve the Annihilator contained inside.
-Sell for: Annihilator Tripod

-Name: Sonic Emitter Tech Crane (GDI)
-Description: Will allow the construction of Sonic Emitters once captured by an Envoy.
-Builds: Sonic Emitters

-Name: Obelisk Tech Crane (NOD)
-Description: As with the Sonic Emitter Tech Crane, allows building of Obelisks.
-Builds: Obelisks

-Name: Storm Coloum Crane (Scrin)
-Description: As with the Sonic Emitter Tech Crane, allows building of Storm Coloums.
-Builds: Storm Coloums

Requests

We really want to sort out all the Art issues with this mod. There are lots of things wrong with the art as you will see.

We are working on all these art assets and are not just asking the community to do it for us, a little help would just be appriciated thats all. We are not just being lazy.

We would love people to submit models/animations for any of the art that does not look quite right.

Such as -

Scrin Trade center - This would be ok, if it was smaller and didnt have the massive light coming out of it.

Scrin Transports - We would love new art for all of these.

Hangers - The scrin one needa a new model, the GDI one could do with a new texture, the nod one is ok.

Animations - It would be great to have nice unpacking animations for all the new trade units.

This is a very early release of the mod, so we know not everything is right. Please help us to make it perfect
