The basic concept is going to be this. You're a farmer and you start of with enough credits to buy a tractor with some equipment. You mow the field and turn the remains into blocks. Then you transport these blocks to a storage bunker and from there you can put them into an oven of sorts. The blocks are now transformed and using a forklift you can load them onto a trailer. With that trailer you'll transport these blocks to a refinery and for each block you deliver you get one credit.
So basically the more blocks you take to the refinery the more credits you'll have and you'll then be able to buy better and faster machines.

We've recently implemented Phong Shading into TractorSource. Which is very similar to the shading seen in Team Fortress 2.

please make a in game guide and a normal internet one on how you can start the farm (current ersion plz i whant to start playing but alll you can do speacial is go off the map!

lol, this mod sounds like a first person version of harvest moon. willl you be able to buy animals and stuff?
are there any other npcs that you can talk to and stuff. if you add some of the cool things from harvest moon it would be a really awsome mod.

I think that you could make a really fun mod out of this! You could have it be about taking care of the farm (tilling, planting, watering) and you could fend off the wolves! I like the tractor designs/noises and how they shake when driven.
Or multiplayer - make the best farm while sabotaging the other.
Yeah It sure is a lot of work :)
But we are working on seriously improving it, everything that was in the beta was just a test to see if the concept would work :)
