This mod will add new units to your supreme commander Forged Alliance game. This mod can be played in both single player and multiplayer. All my units will have Sorian AI support.

I will be releasing units one by one for a while. This new mod is an expansion for Total Mayhem, meaning it will ofcourse require it to run. The reason Im making this new mod is I can update it regularily without having to upload 300mb each time. I will update Mechanical Mayhem every time I finish a unit.

I will try to make the units have their own projectiles, sounds and other custom characteristics.
Im reworking the Avalanche minimod into the new unit pack, so when I start releasing Mechanical Mayhem, you will no longer need the Avalanche mod.

Also, I will from now on post work in progress pictures etc in my profile here on moddb. I want to try to keep the main page clean. So all the untextured and unfinished units will be shown in my profile.

Total Mayhem 1.18 is still on hold until Im ready to put my head into it. So for now, I will stick to creating new units for a while. Atleast I will be able to release something. :)

most of the units are from modern wars and also included some of manga planes like robotech and yukikaze
what we need is big naval combat i also have carriers and trying to make some ships but they are still in test faze
and i have better idea for aircraft sounds (i used it with yours)

modelling is easy textures are the problem i still cannot figure out how can i put many textures in to one and this game gives a lot of free options for models but not for textures and i am working in max 11
also i am still trying to figure out how to pack xwb sound files because i want to give voices to units

futuristic or not the battle is better than any movie or sf fight
all for supreme commander and massive battles
it looks awesome when you mix all of this just need to figure out many things like weapons for ships and carriers

i am working on it but still at first i have regular job which takes most of my time
but all free time is on making this kind of mixed mod so dont worry.I am still working alone cause i have to many ideas to develop and when i finish this ill make it like a mod for everyone

Hey Doc, you can create sound files for supcom with the Direct X SDK. I use the nov2007 one, it should be free and availiable here Microsoft.com
Use the sound editing program named XACT, Cross Action Creation Kit or something like that. It should be pretty self-explanatory how to use it once you look at the original sound files :)

thanx man good thing is i have 3 pc-s working
as for the sound you can mix 2 of them with gun and voice and also you dont need to put extra bone on model just change in script bank and cue movement sounds with your own
,i used audacity to hear the sounds from xwb and they can be also mixed very well
as for the futuristic ships and weapons space battleship Yamato looks good with some changes and i think that i will do that one with many changes for you

hello! no. I didnt change any original units as that would make my mod incompatible with other mods. Total Mayhem is compatible with almost every mod out there.

I just tried using blackops unleashed and Total Mayhem, I did not get a crash when building a triad. I dont think this mod changes any of the original units anyway. Try using each mod by itself and see which one causes the crash. Then delete it and re-download it, just my guess.

Oh and Nazara, Im using 6 mods right now. The only time I had a crash was when I put a file in the wrong folder :)

Hrm, in that case I may have to sort through my supcom folders... It's a bit messy. Got 11 mods atm, the crashes started occurring when I updated this mod and blackops unleashed. Fresh start may help lol

The only way to play good games today it's to download mods made by fans, that's the sad reality. SCFA is an old game but still is one of the best playable game around, at least it's not an RTS for commercial purpose only, as all modern games are. This is a great mod with a lot of new models and FXs and they also are well balanced and playable at all. Mod releases are constant and people here have a lot of to play. Even videos, screens and words are few compared to what is released and playable…
