I will be releasing units one by one for a while. This new mod is an expansion for Total Mayhem, meaning it will ofcourse require it to run. The reason Im making this new mod is I can update it regularily without having to upload 300mb each time. I will update Mechanical Mayhem every time I finish a unit.

I will try to make the units have their own projectiles, sounds and other custom characteristics.
Im reworking the Avalanche minimod into the new unit pack, so when I start releasing Mechanical Mayhem, you will no longer need the Avalanche mod.

Also, I will from now on post work in progress pictures etc in my profile here on moddb. I want to try to keep the main page clean. So all the untextured and unfinished units will be shown in my profile.

Total Mayhem 1.18 is still on hold until Im ready to put my head into it. So for now, I will stick to creating new units for a while. Atleast I will be able to release something. :)

its possible, but it will take alot of diskspace so I wont make one... Like for example going from 1024x1024 (1,3mb) textures to 2048x2048 (5,4mb) is 4 times the size bigger :\

I think nowadays diskspace is not a issue, system requirements isn't either. Hope there's going to be a HD texture pack one day. :)

really? hmm, thats strange. It only has normal anti-air abilities :o
are you sure the other anti-air units cant fire at it too? If I remember correctly I think it was bugged or something, like the Citadel, and they were going to fix it in next version. But Im not sure tho... :)

Well, I've only seen the UEF T1 chaingun shoot down the Satellite, not sure if the Cybran Bofors or any other Total Mayhem AA actually shoot it. Anyway, Just thought you should know if the problem actually persists within Total Mayhem.

pictures? i take it you mean icons, you need either Dominos Mod Support or BlackOps Iconsupport for the icons to work ingame. And no, I will keep my t1\t2 experimentals in the t1\t2 buildgroups, for compability with Time To Tech mod :)
Making the upgrades such as experimental wars is wayyy to much work at the moment. So right now I will not implement such a feature. :\

But is there a hope to you can make the evolving stuff? Why don't you speak with the creator of Exp.Wars mod, asdrubaelvect29? In my opinion, you can together make it, and he need you too.. If you mix the two mods, including all the units and ideas, that have been implemented , you can make a MONSTER MOD with absolute 10/10 ratings. Hope you can do at once. But Keep it up, your mod is great! ;)

The only way to play good games today it's to download mods made by fans, that's the sad reality. SCFA is an old game but still is one of the best playable game around, at least it's not an RTS for commercial purpose only, as all modern games are. This is a great mod with a lot of new models and FXs and they also are well balanced and playable at all. Mod releases are constant and people here have a lot of to play. Even videos, screens and words are few compared to what is released and playable…
