I don't think most people will notice the small difference, for myself it doesn't matter if 2k or 1k but I would recommend 1k because there could be PCs that maybe can't handle it.

I don't see any major differences at all, so maybe you should just choose 1024. After all, I'm more likely to look at the explosions of the units it destroys.

1024 Sup Com is not a game of unit graphic detail so performance is better i think...

I agree with previous comments, the smaller texture would be best.

Same as above. Both textures look excellent, but there isn't all that much difference between them aesthetically. So I'd definitely agree with the smaller one.

the only real differences that i can see are that the texture is less blurry overall and the lines between plates are more defined

Hey Burnie Im not a huge fan of the weapons yet. I think the weapons could do something different. The MK1 Novacat has a big lazer that just sounds scary everytime he fires it off. Maybe you could do a similar laser as a different color that does more damage or something from the right arm and the 2 cannons on the left arm fire a rapid pulsing laser.

Okay, here is the question. Which texture size should I use. 1024 for performance? or 2048 for details.

its barely noticeable, but you can see certain differences on small details on the model.
