A full unit list wont be created, there are over 200 new units added so it would be a rather massive waste of time. I attempted to do an Aeon unit list, but it alone took over an hour and multiple pdf pages. Use the mod enough and youll slowly start to remember all the units and what they cost/strengths/weaknesses. Atleast I have anyway :P

When you download the mod there should be a Sounds.zip folder

take all the sound files out of that sounds.zip and put them into the Supreme commander forged alliance sounds folder.

After you move all the sound files, get rid of the sounds.zip because it can cause problems if you keep it in your supcom folder.

Hello, you need this mod to see mod icons:
Forums.gaspowered.com
if you download the zip, put it in your mods folder. If you download the scd, put it in your gamedata folder. Either one works.

ok, so i recently downloaded this and im having several large bugs:
almost all new units completely ignore commands and just wander
almost all new units cannot attack, they simply aim (fire mode is not on hold fire)
any new unit with legs does not walk, they just slide (not really a huge bug, just something that i thought was worth mention)
some units leave a red trail where they have fired and it never goes away

Did i do something wrong with the install?
i created the mods folder and placed it into the folder (i also have it downloaded from steam if that makes a difference)

Hello, yes you installed it wrong.

in the supcomFA game directory create a folder called "mods"
place the downloaded mod into that folder. so it should look like:

SupcomFA/mods/totalmayhem

You probably made a folder called totalmayhem and put the mod into that, which can screw everything up and give the problems you listed. The wrong way would look like:

SupcomFA/mods/totalmayhem/totalmayhem

Im not the best explainer, hope I helped. Also if you need help installing the sounds just ask.

Woops, I forgot that the 1.20 version comes in a slightly different way that the older versions.

So just move the mods folder that comes with the download into the supcom directory, let it overwrite the current mods folder and it all should be good I think.

Flyingmonkey472 Jul 19 2013, 2:02pm replied:

mine didnt come with a mods folder... it just goes into my downloads folder with only the total mayhem download, nothing else, so i moved the total mayhem into the supcomFA mods folder
i dont know why, maybe something with my computer, i tried other mods, all of them screw something up, even mods for other games that supposedly work fine (NOTE: I did not try them for this game :P i tried them for the game they were meant for)
i dont have a mac, so if that made a difference it wouldnt affect me
and i found 2 other bugs if they help find what happened, some units dont texture, just all red and purple, and when they die they just stay as a visible entity but cant be used

yes, install Sorian AI. :)
If you have Forged Alliance on Steam, download this file Sorian-ai-mod.googlecode.com
If you have Forged Alliance without Steam, download this file Sorian-ai-mod.googlecode.com

if you need help installing Sorian AI, then check his thread on GPG forums in this link. Forums.gaspowered.com

that should be all you need to get the AI to use Total Mayhem's units ingame. Good luck though, the game tends to get really hard once the AI uses the units. :P

Steam version:
Locate your Steam install folder, open the SteamApps folder, and then Common, then Supreme Commander Forged Alliance, and the Gamedata should be there.

Non-steam version:
Locate your Forged Alliance install folder, and Gamedata folder should be there.

You need the Blackops Global Icon Support mod.

Forums.gaspowered.com

There are 2 versions, one for steam, and one for none steam(disc)
If you download the scd file , stick it in your gamedata folder. If you download the zip file, stick it in your mods folder. enable it in the mod manager and all the icons will work :P

I would play on FAF too... but now it doesn't recognize FA anymore :( it's like there's nothing in my DVD player! And if I try and launching the game it says 'The application is not compatible with the current operating system. Try Wn98, 2000 or a new version' and that's ridicoulous because I'm on Win8 and I've been playing for months without a problem... I need some help xD

Don't worry, is not a problem any more: my brother found the solution!! It was a corrupted file caused by an error during a 'save' while I was playing... I lost my profile and all my progress offline but it doesn't matter because I can finally use this wonderful mod :D
Ps: do you know if 'Realistic Nuke mod for FA' runs well with TM and 4thD?
Pss: why in the skirmish I can't select Sorian AI?? :o

Schnitzel_Truck Aug 22 2013, 12:37pm says:

Glad you fixed your problem.
Realistic nuke mod shouldn't interfere with TM as it doesn't change nukes. It might clash with 4thD but idk, youd have to try it out. If it crashes then you know they are incompatable :P

Does the sorian AI not show up in the AI list?? The sorian AI download came with the sorian_AI_pack, and something called LobbyEnhancementMod. You need both.

The only place where ive found the current version (5.0) is on GPG forums, However the site is down so I cant link it to you. If you have FAF you can download it from their mod vault.

I gave someone a link a few comments up, but since the site is down its not working.

I have a couple of questions.

The first is kinda trivial, but I seem to remember some experimental naval units being in the mod, like a significant number of them. Have they been removed since?

Also, I have an issue where I am playing the game and everything seems to be fine and then everything stops. I can scroll around the map and all of the menus work, but the actual gameplay stops. All units, projectiles, and animations just go still, like it paused, but I never paused it. Not sure if this is the mod or the game, or maybe my computer.

Thanks.
