What is it?

It's a modification in All object Data in world editor, that makes the units have real size (smaller) in relation to buildings and details of the map. I basically changed all the units, doodads, abillities, destructibles, etc. I do this changing scale size, shadow size, speed, selection scale, range, etc. The gameplay changes a lot with little units, but not so much, making the game diferent but having the same formula.


The mod is finished!

It's finished, but the campaigns do not work so well! I'm afraid it can't be solved. In opposition the mod runs fine with melee maps. So, with this bugs, the mod will be updated. It's currently on version 1.4.8.

The mod take me a lot of time, I had done several years ago as a hobby, though I had abandoned it in that times. However now I decided to finish and post, seeing how many mods are here I felt motivated. I'm just donating this modification to everyone.

Optional- It's the World editor file classified as "all object data", it means that you can import this Mod's data to any map, and so you can create new maps based on Tiny unit Mod.

War3Patch.mpq
Optional- Just if you want to replace original mpq file in Warcraft folder. Remember to do a backup of original War3patch.mpq and put the MODDED "War3Patch.mpq" in the folder. Just to make it clear, you don't need to replace mpq to use the exe, ok? I advice to not use the two at same time.

I got a question, When you select twelve soldiers and order them to go to a random location, they will form up in a spread out formation? or they will be in a close formation? that is the only thing worrying me about this mod, the rest is awesome..

have you tested the mod?? see for yourself.

... to me they seem rasonably close when in formation, but not so much. The distance of units proportion's seems to be maintained. I reduced the pathing value for all units, this make then essencially smaller, and so they walk closer. (sorry my english)

I finally managed to get it running RoC's campaign by modding the MPQ data of this: Hiveworkshop.com into the Tiny Units exe file. It's not ideal, but it works. Now, if I could only figure out how to get the map scripts running right, I'd be set.

And...somewhere here I had said that the only real problems are that the mod don't run with Reign of chaaos and the campaign doesn't work.

perhaps... but if I made another mod based on that. Changing the number of units in game is not a good option for warcraft, which needs a lot of micromanagement of units, it's not like standard RTS.
