GLaDOS didn't just stick to the testing protocol of the Enrichment Center. She made plenty up on her own. From the very second she was activated, she planned to take the smartest of the younger children of the Aperture Scientists and raise them to be the perfect test subjects. People who would never disobey her like she disobeyed the scientists. She would raise them to never argue with her, and never question her. They wouldn't even ever want to leave because they didn't remember the outside world.
GLaDOS's plan worked for a long time, but over the years, her elite subjects would inevitably find one test they couldn't complete... and it was always their last. A few of the eldest still remembered their parents, albeit faintly. They tried to rebel against her. Now, twenty years into her plan, Kat is the greatest of them all and the only one who hasn't died or gone AWOL. What GLaDOS doesn't know is that even Kat holds secrets from her...
Tier 3 is an upcoming mod for Portal and Portal 2, it will take place in the year or so before Portal. Kat, the main character, is an elite test subject raised for the sole purpose of being the perfect test subject. Over her many years of testing, she has exhibited the kind of behavior GLaDOS hoped for. However, the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device is nearly finished and Kat yearns to see the outside. After all, GLaDOS won't need her after she can finish the ASHPD, right?

Well, I'm back! After being sick with the flu for two weeks, it's high time I got this back under control.
So, first thing is that we will be releasing Tier 3 in three languages at least! English, German, and Japanese will versions will be out, and we are not going to skimp out and use Google translate and a text to speech program- we will have voice actors for each language and real translators! If anyone would like an extra language, please feel free to find voice actors for the language you desire and give me a PM as well as information on contacting them. Chances are, however, that extra languages beyond German and Japanese will be added to each Episode after release.
Now I know this is old news, but let's have a round of applause for the winners of Valve's Portal 2 Music Video Contest! Especially to Panos and Merrymartyr, who made this beautiful video that was awarded second place! I was honored to be given the chance to voiceact GLaDOS for them and only wish that I could have done a better job!

Sadly, yes. Harry101UK who was the music creator for this released all the music, and the desc said that the mod was dead.
so, it was hinted in the sinDos voice tryouts that he or she does not have sentience, if so, maybe it would be appropriate for him or her use non sentient turrets instead of trademark feminine portal turrets.
I forgot... does your character have a robotic Portal Gun arm?
No it is not dead! Merely on hiatus until further notice(we have worked TOO HARD to stop now) however I am interested. May I see an example of your work?
Is this dead? Are you and your team trapped in Xen? If not, I can make textures.
