Greetings reader,
 
We will be posting from our Design Documents content pertaining to our factions. The hope is to convey the current standing of each factions' lore. With such we hope to better help someone understand a faction's direction in design should one wish to contribute thoughts and ideas.

Currently the "ASI" is available, to stick with the planned development process.

Furthermore, we are considering starting a role playing game in which you the community get to further shape the story, lore, and unit designs of the mod by creating characters in the universe, with moderated events taking place.

The Feature page for each faction will serve as basic guidelines for each factions' characters and units created.

This is an opportunity to use the previously brainstormed units/ ideas and technologies in a structured environment.

If there are enough takers we can flesh out the scenario Further.

we are finally getting some units up and running, the process is slow but i was able to get the skins back and now i am working on painting up a new model while still keeping that classic ASI look we all have come to expect! in the mean time we have an animator that is finishing up the animations to this new unit which, after all the needed work for it to look good is done, will soon be put in the mod! things are starting to look up for this mod as the team as a whole is starting to make a small but none the less strong come back in its development! we will have three units to complete until some minor polishings are needed and the ASI can be released to the public.

some work is being done, we are slowly picking up the pieces from what umbrella left behind. as one of the modelers and main contributors to this project, i have been searching through several files and slowly learning what is needed to bring the fans the best to my ability the same feeling people have come to expect when it comes to the skinning of the models we have developed. i am still in this process but i can say i am much better equipped in my ability to deliver. we are still searching for someone who knows the sage engine well enough to script some of the more advanced features that we have in mind so if you are skilled in coding, then drop us a message and let us know!

Yeah,yeah, the lore and if we shall see the inspiration drawn from Zerg,Tyranids for Colony.
Terminator Skynet,Stargate Replicators,Necron,Trade federation drones,etc. for ASI.
That something what I call "Lich king syndrome" were always so cool for me. xd

Soon shall everyone start calling for ETA on ASI demo(mainly us testers :-)
And I bet people are charged up over 9000 to see more D51 lore and stuff.
So the question of the year,my dear honorable TiSe gentlemen,is:Can you see it with some update,release optimistically before Xmas or 2014 kicks in?

Keep it real,take it easy,thumbs up,good luck with school,job,family and real life whatsoever.We stay tuned.

Why does everyone think i am part of the team. even though it is somewhat flattering, i am not. as far as i know, ASI has its focus on ground troops, though a real focus has not been shown, and i asume that due to their robotic nature, EMP will be a good counter (that is, if there will be a decent EMP defence turret). D51 focus is depending, as you can choose between fright or flight, i am not sure what bonuses "fright" gives, though i asume they will be turtle based. flight gives you the strongest aerial units in the game, and as such, complete air dominance. the Colony will be a rusher army, meaning it will most likely have low costs and no energy need, but generally evolves worse into later tiers than other factions.

In case anyone wonders, ASI will be finished first, then it will most likely be D51, followed by Colony, which is probaly the most intricate faction due to most of its models having a "pulse", needing much more animations for it
