This mod will add three new armies with new features. First is ASI, this faction was spawned by five scientist from the Black Hand which saw after much research, had decided that the best way to ascend is through technology, not Tiberium. Thus creating the first true Artificial Intelligence known to man. The second army will be a monstrous creature army that the Scrin have feared for many years, "The Colony." These creatures will be tiberium infested and will leave nothing left standing. These mindless things also don't know what technology is and they do not use power. They are a sickness that has no cure, but to destroy them... Lastly is Dream 51, an army that is a remainder of the United States government military force.

1.) Can faction specific information be posted in the appropriate forum suggestion threads or in individual features pages? (If articles are editable with the changing of game content?)

Okay, after reading that the Dream Army will have teleporting capability, might such information be organized and maintained in a locatioin for the community to be aware of once said information is incorporated into the mod's concept for development? The first post in each suggestion thread could be edited to state technologies/themes to keep in mind when conceptualizing ideas for a faction. Or, depending on if articles can be changed after posted, each faction could have its own features page as a go-to source of lore and gameplay information (something I'd be willing to undertake if deemed desirable and pending allowance).

A features page or the first post in the Dream Army's suggestion thread could include something like:

Notable Technologies:
-Flechettes: The use of high-speed darts as a projectile-type weapon.
-Hover: The use of locomotion that lifts a vehicle off the ground.
-Advanced Missiles: The use if unique, specialty missiles as a weapon, such as those fired at high velocity.
-Plasma: The use of high-energy ionized gas as a weapon, either fired on its own (like heated 'bolts') or while suspended with a solid core (like coated darts or ball bearings with an electric charge).
-Space: The use of satellites, space capable craft, and orbital drops.
-Teleportation: The use of devices that move an individual and/or object from one location to another near instantaneously.

Themes, Concepts, Mechanics:
-"Flight or Fright": A mid-game path-way that determines building, unit, and support power options available to the player. The 'flight' aspect provides a Supercarrier, more air units, and many air/space oriented support powers (including bombing runs and orbital strikes). The 'fright' aspect provides more building options (including a super weapon), more ground units (including infantry and hover vehicles), and a few land oriented support powers (including unit teleportation and call-in reinforcements).

So, with noteable technologies to work with and themes to take into acount, ideas might be better adapted to the faction one is thinking about. These by no means should keep new, different ideas from being posted, but instead act as the formally acknowledged guidelines (that can be changed at any time of course).

Yeah I've been working on list of styles for each faction and overall themes. On this next Dream Army update, I'm replacing the main menu with something that has templates for each faction. I'm not giving off too much of the story however. Not a lot of people use the forums (which it doesn't look like), so I might leave all this the same.

At least one method by which the Colony will infect is through the use of tiberium gases and the various means to deliver said gases.

They will if necessary. ASIM, the ASI's leader, would prefer to convert humans to its "cause". Should humans resist however, the ASI will eliminate them (or convert them by force).

Although I'm not currently part of the team, my understanding is the current team is waiting hear from Mcardwell , who has the full compiled mod, since Umbrella secrets left, and has no contact with the team.

You can also try and contact fandore and or war wolf, they are still looking for assistance.
