This mod will add three new armies with new features. First is ASI, this faction was spawned by five scientist from the Black Hand which saw after much research, had decided that the best way to ascend is through technology, not Tiberium. Thus creating the first true Artificial Intelligence known to man. The second army will be a monstrous creature army that the Scrin have feared for many years, "The Colony." These creatures will be tiberium infested and will leave nothing left standing. These mindless things also don't know what technology is and they do not use power. They are a sickness that has no cure, but to destroy them... Lastly is Dream 51, an army that is a remainder of the United States government military force.

This thread is to share what the mod is currently working on. It is intended to provide insight for the community and also provide a sense of direction on what ideas the community can assist with.

As one can see, ASI vehicles are looking impressive.

To address again, the next aspect of development one can assist with is the conceptualization of ASI infantry units. We appreciate any and all ideas and inspiration.

As of today the mod team has completed the designs (i.e. models and textures) of all but two ASI vehicles. *coughthankyoualmostentirelyUmbrellaSecretscough*

The next large focus of development will be the creation of ASI infantry. This is where you, the community, can help. We need all the inspiration we can get, so please:

Post any ideas you may have for an interesting sci-fi robotic infantry unit in its own thread on the ASI board.

Any pictures are to be posted in the ASI Reference Gallery here. You can of course refer to the Gallery, but it is preferred to keep a pool of images in one place.

Hi ive just joined the site (dont know where to post this) i am amazed by what your working on! it looks better than C&C3 KW! i just had a few questions i hoped could be answered :) will gdi nod and scrin still be playable with the 3 new factions? and most importantly when can i download this! im soo excited, is there a rough date of the first release?

Hi Edwardz! I very much appreciate your interest in the mod, to answer your question; GDI, NOD and Scrin will be playable, however, they will have different gameplay styles and mechanics to fit the new ones. As for a release date, I can't really tell you yet, but I can say that ASI is starting to shape up toward completion. :)

Yes, we will include the original factions. At least with simple balance modifications to allow the original factions to compete with the new ones, at most with quite drastic changes that revitalize the original factions in different, unique ways.

That is a good question. A ROUGH (rough, rough, rough, rough, rough) estimation is for a beta release by [around] the end of the year. But again, that's roughly a rough estimation...

at this time we are slowly (and I mean slowly) hammering out some bugs, looking further at engine limitations, conceptualizing some additional ASI game mechanics where possible in relation to said limitations, and fleshing* out ASI infantry designs [ *<- see what I did there..? ].
