This modification offers an alternative gameplay to Tiberian Wars involving many Tiberian Sun units which many CnC fans (like me) missing in vanilla CNC3 and add even new my made units which you can't find anywhere else. Story is quite the same like Tiberian Wars, but is all about what if GDI and Nod do not abandon technologies they have used in Tiberian Sun era and instead of that further developed them. But it's not only that, there are many visual, sound and balance changes which I want to see and hear in my mod, new sounds, new music, new effects (like blood and gore, new infantry deaths, new more realistic missile trails) and many more.
It is great mod. It's best of CnC3 mods what I've seen. It perfectly captures the spirit of classic Command and Conquer and makes game more intresting. It is like fresh air breath. But it still need some balance fixes. For example, cyborgs are too difficult to kill imho and units with drill are undig in the same point.
One of the best mod I've ever played. It has everything a good game should have, a good graphic, good units, and it's fun to play. This is a very professional made game, it doesn't look just like a mod. The only fault is the high amount of units, some of them became useless during the game, but for the rest it's an excellent mod.
You certainly put alot of efforts into this, inclusion of some of the old classics like the Titans and complete overhaul of some of the units that looks better than the one EA made certainly add flavor into this. Hope you guys would contiune to improve the mod!
awesome~awesome MODs from Carnius!! with alot to rejoice for, its like Westwood once again..update from the old model of the 1st Tiberium War, a very good update then C&C4;, the ingame unit & models are great, new faction is a welcome! the atmosphere and theme is awesome..waiting for it to fully release...cant wait!
Simply breathtaking in its attention to detail and completed feel. Nothing about this mod says amateur or unfinished. It is a wonderful addition to the base game and livens up the eventual slog fest that this game can sometimes be.
Plus if you are a legacy fan then it is wonderful to see old favourites back and as a die hard GDI general the Mammoth Mark II Walker helps spread the true message to the heathens known as 'Nod'.
I have a few issues with this mod as a Tiberian Sun fan. There were a lot of thing I didn't like in Tiberium Wars and sadly they weren't removed from this mod. I can't get over the face that half the buildings and units are Tiberium Wars content. It just looks weird playing on a Tiberium essence map with Tiberian Sun mod units but half the base is Tiberium Wars still. I hope the maker of this mod eventually removed the Tiberium Wars units and structures and maps and other Tiberium Wars stuff then I'll be happier with this mod. Besides that this mod is great. I know he was trying to just add on to Tiberium Wars not completely get rid of it but at this point he might as well. What he did add is amazing though. Also, hard AI and brutal AI have a massive gap. Hard AI play just like easy AI. I would have to be AFK for very long periods of time to die to hard AI while brutal AI I can only handle a few waves of enemy units before my harvesters run out of Tiberium and start getting killed more and more frequently across the map. It's just not fun because of this its either too easy or too hard.
I would give u 10 but I'm new to moddb but I really love this mod is very good and give's a good feel and balance to the game keeping the cnc 3 gameplay with that tiberium sun unit's it's addicting lol I would love to see what u do next with this mod :D
