This modification offers an alternative gameplay to Tiberian Wars involving many Tiberian Sun units which many CnC fans (like me) missing in vanilla CNC3 and add even new my made units which you can't find anywhere else. Story is quite the same like Tiberian Wars, but is all about what if GDI and Nod do not abandon technologies they have used in Tiberian Sun era and instead of that further developed them. But it's not only that, there are many visual, sound and balance changes which I want to see and hear in my mod, new sounds, new music, new effects (like blood and gore, new infantry deaths, new more realistic missile trails) and many more.

Yes it is, sort of. It rather boost units and structures armor than creates impenetrable wall. there is some engine limitations and other things that make it big problem, but i want to add something like that in to TE so this is one possible solution that really works without any flaws.

It is so great to see that GDI gets its Firestorm Shield Generator again - Thank you for doing this Carnius! I love the design of the structure too, however, is it just me or does its coloring scheme appear darker/more brown than the rest of GDI's lighter/sand color?

I think it would work well as an iron curtain considering it could help GDI survive a super weapon attack. Maybe to balance it a bit it also slows down invulnerable units?

Then it would be 100 percent Iron curtain, now, wouldnt it?
Though as far as i've pieced together, Firestorm generator was indeed advancment of iron curtain research

I guess story for it would be that GDI cut costs down and made it able to apply its effect onto its vehicles and whatnot at a reduced defense ratio or somthing hehe.

Typically, when a technology advances, it becomes more cost efficient. If the firestorm were made to render some units or structures invulnerable without requiring some pain in the *** hardware to be installed throughout a base, I think that would be a great move.

Here's how I think it could work:
Activating the firestorm generator would render all of the structures (Possibly units as well) in a set radius around the generator invulnerable, as a trade-off, the structures within the protective zone become underpowered as the energy cost to bring the defense systems online is too high. The generator then has a cooldown of several minutes.

Another thought I had was that two mutually exclusive upgrades could be offered. One extends the maximum range and protects vehicles within the base, the second camouflages the structure somehow and kills enemy units within range when activated.

Alternatively, both abilities could be native but require the commander to choose which to activate when the cooldown completes. Meaning they share the same timer.

The murder pulse would of course be red.

So will the vehicles fire off giant bursts of blue and red fire in all directions now? :P

May I say it look a bit alien? I mean look at the barracks - different color textures etc

The barracks, along with a few other structures, seriously need some redesigning as well though.
