There has been a lot of people who joined us on this journey, from the beginning, nearly two years ago and right up to the recent months. Sadly, most of them had to leave for one reason or another. We come down to this, a small but ambitious group of people who have nowhere else to go. We tried to patch this project up from scratch, we were doing well, then exams came and we had to take a forced break. We sat down to this project after, we discussed its future and its current standing, finally realizing the inevitable truth. This project is too big for a small group of people like us. We would like to continue on it, but with the lack of dedication or real direction in the company, all roads lead to a dead end. If we continued, though, we would slowly crawl up until 2014 when this mod would be released, and the results would still might be unsatisfactory. This mod is going on hold for an indefinete amount of time, and will definetely not be continued by the current staff of our group.
We are very sorry to dissapoint all of you who supported us, the few of you that is. Yes, this mod was a fail to begin with, mostly because there never was a real team, just people coming in an out of a slowly sinking boat.
Let us remember the people who tried to push this wreck forward, who still had some faith, but sadly lost it as the tides kept on turning against us.

All of these people will be remembered. I've watched this mod grow and colapse, sadly, I have to admit: after the founder left the team, the whole spirit and direction slowly faded. It was only led by hate towards EA to begin with, then slowly turned into pity for a dying project. None of us wanted to give up, but the lack of real direction, it was nearly impossible to keep up with it.
Our assets stand as they are. They will be open to certain people with permission. This mod leaves some great concepts behind it and ideas that are not worth being forgotten. I hope someone will realise them someday and show propper respect for the artists who gave birth to them.
On an ending note, we gained friends, some enemies along the way, but it was one hell of a ride. This mod was deffinetely one of controversial ones and it will hopefully stand as an example for future generations of modders to come.

Well. You guys did some great work. Its sad to see this project go. I hope you guys get a good plan set up in the future, and a good team and finish this project eventually.

It is a shame with these projects. People have such great ideas, but the problem is always and always to find people who are serious on working on it. I've been having the same issues myself, some people joining, some leaving at the same time. You simply just have to keep searching until you find the really truthfull people.
You have done well so far, and thats what counts.

and 1 question why you didnt try recruit other moders like carnius or the team of C&C labs
Well Carnius has got his hands full with releasing Tiberium Essence 1.5 if I'm not mistaken.

I was never really quite sure what the aim of this project was specifically, like how you guys expected to "Fix C&C 4", just watched to see if I'd get a definitive answer. At least I don't have to be curious anymore.
That was, essentially, the problem with the mod. No one in the mod could agree what the mod was either. That's why it kept changing forms/leadership. And most of the time no one realized that other people in the group were working towards completely different goals.
Some amazing work was born out of the project, but in the future, more organization from the beginning is needed, and perhaps hate is not the best way to bring together a project, for as we all know... Hate leads to suffering.
You've did a good job, you can be proud of yourself.

EA could learn from you how to make a good game.

Atleast release your assets (if you ant) to other modders or the twa/essence mod leaders, id hate to see the work all be for nothing.
As I said in the post, they will be open to certain people with permission. So if the modders will contact us and the artist who made them, or we would do it ourselves, we can allow the usage of them. Trust me, we don't want to see our work die as well.
If people request unused assets then they may have some of them, alot of TE's assets are still in private hands so if there is a model you like you may want to contact the modder.
It's been a great ride but we all did see this coming at some point, one of the main issues that I didn't want to go on with this mod was because I got tired of trying to "fix" or "replace" something that was there instead of just focusing on the new direction. Who knows, I might contact some of the ex-members for a smaller and much more manageable mod for the next C&C game.
One of the most anticiptated mods I was excited to see come to reality is sadly taking the short walk to the grave :,(
Well it was a hell of a ride seeing the changes this mod went through but I guess all good things must come to an end.
my work I put in the mod belongs to me. However if anyone feels like modding again, TE are free to use what I have in the share folder for TE MOD. I only ask you credit me for my work.
