Tiberian Sun Rising is a total conversion for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars! Tiberian Sun Rising brings back GDI and Nod battling it out during the Second Tiberium War, retelling Tiberian Sun as never before. This isn't just a remake of the hit title C&C Tiberian Sun. It is a mod making Tiberian Sun as it should have been originally so expecting lots of new fun and originality while sticking to the feel Tiberian Sun had. Taking the mindset that this is the first time Tiberian Sun is being made and using the original game as a design concept. This mod will also include the additions made in Firestorm so it is a remake of Tiberian Sun and Firestorm as one to what they should have been.New abilities and units will appear in Tiberian Sun Rising as well as new kind of gameplay altogether.

now is this going to contribute to some lag? or are the maps going to be little detail?

Well instead of just making maps bigger which makes the game slower.

We actually made every object in the game smaller.

So lets say we created a small map for TSR, by Generals standards this would be PUNY.
If we created a large map, by Generals standard it would be medium
If we created a HUGE Map, by generals standard be Large.

So we're actually saving on alot of performance, only thing we have to be careful of is adding too many objects to a particular map, this can slow it down *Generals doesnt handle 100's of objects very well speedwise*.

that is really brilliant, but won't it decrease the unit detail?

This scaling down thing I'm a bit worried of, since I'd like to see maps as detailed as possible. But if we get huge maps not seen in SAGE before... then I guess it's a good trade.

The detail of the maps will only be affected by the map maker, not our changes.

Well I havent seen maps that big in Zero Hour... in SAGE perhaps is a too grand a claim as i am unsure how big BFME2 maps get.
