Tiberian Sun Rising is a total conversion for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars! Tiberian Sun Rising brings back GDI and Nod battling it out during the Second Tiberium War, retelling Tiberian Sun as never before. This isn't just a remake of the hit title C&C Tiberian Sun. It is a mod making Tiberian Sun as it should have been originally so expecting lots of new fun and originality while sticking to the feel Tiberian Sun had. Taking the mindset that this is the first time Tiberian Sun is being made and using the original game as a design concept. This mod will also include the additions made in Firestorm so it is a remake of Tiberian Sun and Firestorm as one to what they should have been.New abilities and units will appear in Tiberian Sun Rising as well as new kind of gameplay altogether.

Definitely looking very cool.

The new ring setup is definitely what i would go for. Center image for non-selected, and right for selected.

But, why have rings around unselected units/structures? In my opinion, it just ruins the image of the battlefield/base, having all those circles around the place. Make them appear only when a unit/structure is selected as the health bar.

The rings indicate the player color, removing them entirely makes the game unplayable. The alternative would be painting the units in player colors, which we found to ruin the look even more.
Remember that you as a commander are not viewing just a video feed of the battle, it's an EVA interface designed for optimal use, so EVA adds a layer of Augmented Reality, marking important features of the battlefield. The Mobile Sensor Array will link into this system as well.

I feel the rings ruin the entire look of this mod, no matter how much you try to change them they will still be too noticeable and highly confusing in large battles, it also looks lazy and unprofessional and detracts from the beauty of the unit or structure it is strangling.
