The Tiberian Sun Client is a complete, stand-alone Tiberian Sun package for both players and modders. It fixes all known (fixable) bugs in Tiberian Sun and offers a ton of new functionality, including a new easier-to-mod file structure, new game options and pre-defined starting locations and teams. With the Client's bugfixes and enhancements, Tiberian Sun players get a significantly enhanced experience compared to the original game, while enjoying gameplay exactly identical to the original game. For modders starting a new Tiberian Sun mod, it is not required, but highly recommended that you begin with installing the TS Client. The new file structure directly exposes the most critical INI and MIX files of the game, meaning that you don't need to download any special tools for most basic modding.

It's not ceased, but rampastring.cncnet.org is offline because it has moved to rampastring.cnc-comm.com. The move killed the update servers for this version, but a new version will be released next autumn.
I must say your TS client works perfectly, instead of Cncnet client which looks modernized but actually it's more buggy, crashes a lot and it's UI is actually worse in terms of usefulness. It's a shame most people use cncnet's TS client...

How do we add Movies? The button in Compnents is marked unavailable. Adding MOVIES01.mix MOVIES02.mix and MOVIES03.mix to the MIX folder just causes crashes.
Download the following files and place them to the MIX\ folder:
TS GDI movies: Rampastring.cnc-comm.com
TS Nod movies: Rampastring.cnc-comm.com
Firestorm both campaign movies: Rampastring.cnc-comm.com

Greetings, and Happy New Years! I have a problem.. I remember, the first time to download this Client its worked, finaly I choose the post with enemy and make ally..:) anyway, the problem is... "KABOOOOOOOM... Tiberian Sun has crashed.
Front 'Trebuchet MS' does not support style 'Regular'." I found the last comments and.. a try the language, English - United State.. but its not.. worked.xd Search the English - Europe, but I not found... I don't know where is it, I used Hungarian language, but.. the first time also use this lang and the game it's worked.. maybe other problem my computer? (Win 7)
Hi! Again me. I solved the problem. When you help someone.. search the startmenu Fronts then click the folder, search this Trebuchet MS then delete. Then go to old friends google, search Trebuchet MS and download. Quite important, cuz you pc used this font. Just copy and past the Fonts folder, and done. :)
[Cross-posted to ppmforum.com because wouldn't let me post a comment without signing-up] When my mouse has Pointer Trails or when I use Cursor FX --the pointer is invisible in the in-game menu! Works fine on IE-DD but that lags sometimes. On Open RA I had to disable Hardware Cursors to get it to display the mouse pointer again, in-game. But thanks --the game is awesome!! & the cheats are indispensable --don't know how I played it before without it! 10/10 Best mod ever --doesn't tamper any features of the original game. If you could please fix this in a future update, thanks!
(I prefer TS-DDRAW.) BTW What's the difference between TS-DDRAW & IE-DDRAW? & do you use a patching engine for updates? (So I don't have to download the entire [276+MB] zip everytime)?
Also after saving a game [in-game] & clicking Okay in the alert box, the game menu turns invisible & I have to press Tab + Space to resume the game. Tested in Skirmish --I'm running Windowz 10 Pro on a Celeron low-end laptop.
Argh! Just gonna change cursors to Starcraft, I give up! I know this is a software issue\ problem on my end because when I have [Stardock] Cursor FX enabled --I can't see the mouse pointer when I open any context menu on Windows 10. So I will just use regular Windows cursor theme without Pointer Trails or Cursor FX --love this game too much! It will fix the problem for now. Oh & IE-DDRAW sucks! Tried various patchers\ fixit tools but nothing worked --TS Client is such a great standalone game that it comes with all options --only won't fix the smoke-trail leaving mouse pointer issue with Stardock Cursor FX. Let's hope something can be done in a future update! Thanks bro!
TS fixed itself!!! On TS-DDRAW! I think it's 'cause of the cursor I changed to --so just switching between pointer options & waiting for the cursor scheme alert fixes the game. It was either the mouse pointer ("Starcraft" cursor set) I was using was too large, the wheel scroller (set to 1 page --reverted to 3 lines), or the cursor scheme alert, or maybe even Zabaware Reader app! But it works now! Love this game!! <33
