Tiberian Eclipse is a total conversion mod for Unreal Tournament 3 that brings the theme of the famous RTS game C&C Tiberian Sun to a whole new genre. BTE will bring the player into the war that rages between Nod and GDI and allow them to battle in the war that in the past has only been seen overhead. We have a lot of key and unique features we plan to implement into our mod that will set us apart from all others. ...This war is not over yet. It's only just begun... If you have a suggestion, posting it on the forums will get it read sooner and responded to better then if you post it here.
Latest News: Welcome Back Commander
10 comments by Three9 on Jun 10th, 2009 digg this super bookmark Well hello there again. Before I get started on the actual post, please, I urge you to go to our newly designed website ( Solar-fissure.com ) and read the news post entitled Deja Vu. It will explain everything as to where we have been and what we are doing. This mod desperately needs a large and solid staff, and we are accepting for all areas of mod development. If you know anyone, refer them. If you yourself are looking for a project to work on, apply in the forum. We really need the help. We have several things to show off today (and hopefully this post will be updated a bit later with even more) and I'm happy to present them. We have a couple revamped models, with new ones and one new texture. Sirnaut is currently hard at work texturing the new HammerHead model, and hopefully we'll have someone to post on that soon. We also have a couple in game screenshots, that although I feel aren't really up to par to actually throw out there, it does prove that we are working behind the scenes and getting our content in game. Currently we have two player models, one weapon, and one vehicle in game (Although Havoc89 has been working on our HammerHead to get that in game). I am not posting the player models in game, simply because the material settings on them are not correct, and they just don't look amazing. Trust me though, they are in game and really fun to run around as, but I'd like to tweak and work with them a bit more before showing. Anyway, onto the art
That's it for now, but I'm going to try and work hard today to finish GDI's Wolverine and Orca Bomber. Expect posts on those soon if not today. Do not give up on this mod, it isn't too late to see what this mod could become.

lol.. i thought it will be made for crysis
but why do you want to do it for bf2142? sucks .. ;(
Well MaddKill, the Singleplayer Demo has the map editor included, if you want to get a jump start on that ;)
If you're interested in applying for a mapping position, you can fill out an application here:
Solar-fissure.com
Also, you can stop by our forums as well, we'd love to hear from ya :)
Oh, Also...once I get Crysis and take a look at its mapper since its going to be similar to the Far Cry one, perhaps I will be able to help you guys out with the Mapping for this mod. :D
I thought reborn was moving to crysis after finishing renegade.
They said they would, then again, they said they'd give us an infatry beta within the next month or so, still waiting for that. :P
This also seems post-Firestorm Incident, whereas reborn is pre-firestorm incident. And I could sworn Reborn was going to source.
They are, the last I heard
I thought reborn was moving to crysis after finishing renegade.
cant wait to see what the mod will be like on crysis
I'm not sure if that would be such a good idea
I've talked to Renardin on different occasions and I've actually worked on Reborn (some of my models are still being used, though I'm not even sure if credit is still listed or not). Me and Renardin work a lot differently. Even if we decided to co-lead, or him come under me or me under him, there would a severe clash in design and leadership. I'm going for a completely different feel and aspect of Tiberian Sun than Renardin is. Not only that, but I'm going for a more creative style on the artists part than he is (I'm allowing freedom to edit and change up designs in units, whereas he is going for an exactness to Reborn)
you guys should consider your ideas with the Reborn mod and get them to join you.
so when they're done with C&C Renegade version of their Reborn Mod.
Then they can start helping you guys with this and give you a head start.
I'm sure they'd take in your ideas gracefully.
