Tiberian Dawn is a total-conversion for the game Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars. Our goal is to bring C&C1 to a new engine, with enhanced features and graphics while also bringing back much of the classic style of gameplay while not taking steps back from what C&C3 implemented in the series as gameplay features.
This is not of course our only goal - the idea of the total-conversion was inspired by an art piece by Godwin that showed the cruelty and bitter humanity of the Tiberian conflicts - of soldiers who were not only soldiers but men and women who were human, of environments that felt alive with their vibrancy.
We want to inject that into Tiberian Dawn. This same level of vibrant emotion, of humanity and struggle against a frightening opponent (Be it GDI or Nod in your mind) while trying to accept the changes to the world that Tiberium has brought.
It is not an easy task we have set ourselves - and we are all dedicated to working to the best of our abilities.

From watching this mod since the very beginning this is the first time there's been a gap and the sites gone down as well, normally the site stays up or at least some forum or someone posts a new article about the whole domain issue.
I've no doubt that this will get its release but the wait is just too long without even the smallest playable beta or even alpha; always release a public demo no matter what you have as long as its made by yourself, perfectionism fueled by impression is a nasty concoction.
I believe that the only reason they have failed to release anything at this point is because they have real lives, jobs, school and families and obviously they come first. I also think they have the majority of this mod completed and is mostly down to animation and coding that needs to be finished.
They have always had real lives, jobs, schools and families, the reason behind what's happened isn't important.
This mod isn't dead its just dormant which is worse; we'll never be entirely sure of the outcome until it happens.

Nice ******* video man i gotta tell u it looks realistic to the way the air craft drops off vehicles at the airstrip that looks badass when does this mod come out also if u arent totaly done with the full version yet maybe a beta might be a great idea but man u have been announcing this scince 2007 lol no offince
Hi, can you give some updates please? I don't wanna start an argument, but this mod has been announced in the fall of 2008. It's the 2Q of 2012. It's clearly taking too long to be pushed out.
I like how this mod stays true to the original Tiberian Dawn designs instead of the horribly inaccurate Renegade designs. Good work!

I don't know, But only the authors can declare if a mod is dead or not. so shut up, sit patiently, and wait for an update.
