"War... War never changes.
The reasons why we fight these wars remain much the same; some are fought to conquer, for religious and ideological beliefs, other wars are fought over gold, oil, spices – natural resources and money. Power is the key element.
This war is no different - except there's nothing natural about Tiberium.
The year is 1995 and we have just begun to open up our eyes to view a brave new future, some will come to say it's a horrific future.
It is the Dawn of the Tiberian future."

Tiberian Dawn is a total-conversion for the game Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars. Our goal is to bring C&C1 to a new engine, with enhanced features and graphics while also bringing back much of the classic style of gameplay while not taking steps back from what C&C3 implemented in the series as gameplay features.
This is not of course our only goal - the idea of the total-conversion was inspired by an art piece by Godwin that showed the cruelty and bitter humanity of the Tiberian conflicts - of soldiers who were not only soldiers but men and women who were human, of environments that felt alive with their vibrancy.
We want to inject that into Tiberian Dawn. This same level of vibrant emotion, of humanity and struggle against a frightening opponent (Be it GDI or Nod in your mind) while trying to accept the changes to the world that Tiberium has brought.
It is not an easy task we have set ourselves - and we are all dedicated to working to the best of our abilities.
I encourage you to come participate in our official forums and read the rest of the news concerning Tiberian Dawn.

The update press continues along here at Tiberian Dawn, and in this round we venture to hallowed ground. Yes, we are bowing before the altar of Kane's Temple, the Temple of Nod. We've got a nice sampling of it below.
Gaming Update #40 | Completed: Temple of Nod
If your faith is strong enough, click the above image or check out our update for further information, and other teaser images. From God, to Kane, to the Tiberian Dawn team.
Enjoy, Brothers and Sisters.

Will the Nod light tank fire TOW missiles? That was not in original C&C but can be good idea against Superior Armor and Aircraft of GDI.
I hope you maintain the original balance elements of C&C95 such as Light tank having higher Rate of Fire than GDI's Medium Tank, and not only being cheaper than its counterpart.
One thing i would to say:Please do not cut the amount of violence in C&C,i mean some people will appear and say cruel about the C-Warrior,Flametank or Flametrooper of Nod,dont listen them at all, this is a game and gaming is not a crime man.
Actually, if you read our "mission statement" at the top, you can infer that we aren't reducing (nor will we) the level of violence in any aspect. We want to show the utter cruelty and bitter disregard for humanity that comes with war. How we will accomplish this is by engulfing the player in a world full of life. This is why we are taking such care in refining the backstory Westwood fleshed out.
The M2F Bradley Light Tank currently will not use the TOW missiles, as explained in other places. The reason being - in the backstory - is that Nod does not have enough supplies to do so. Instead they equip individual soldiers.
Yes, balance stats are currently taken directly from the code of CnC95.
So when TD mod release there's gonne be classic mode and none classic?
I just came
<3
Great update as usual!
One more seriouser thing must i say:You can remember the full-teamcolouring in C&C95.I mean Vehicles were painted in the colour you have chosen from top to ground, there wasnt only an colour-trim or coloured symbol indicating to whom its belonging, and many liked it that way too much i mean...
I can actually post them up if you want the fully housecolored units
Yes please can you show some examples
At one point, we did try the head-to-toe team coloring that was seen in CnC95. Unfortunately, it just could not carry over well. The whole battlefield looked like a firework celebration at Christmas; just far too many saturated colors. It worked for CnC1 because of such a small resolution, scale, and overall detail. We have better technology, so why not take advantage of it?
The current team colors scheme was a result of a compromise between the said classic look, and the very realistic "Augmented Reality" seen in Mid East Crisis 2 or Tiberian Sun Rising. We wanted to maintain the realistic camo schemes and vehicle designs but not sacrifice player cognitive identification.
Yes i like the game of my childhood:C&C95.I've watched the trailer and can see that:Wow man!Thats great work :)
I had always so an idea about the C&C series:Combining the Naval and Aircraft of RA1 with Tiberian Dawn, this would enable the GDI to make Gunships,Destroyers,Battleships and perhaps the Aircraft Carrier from RA2,the NOD will counter them with Submarine,MRLS Submarine,FLAK-Boat,Dreadnought from RA2.But thats only an idea, and im not from the team so please dont take it serious if someone dislikes :)
