Tiberian Dawn is a total-conversion for the game Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars. Our goal is to bring C&C1 to a new engine, with enhanced features and graphics while also bringing back much of the classic style of gameplay while not taking steps back from what C&C3 implemented in the series as gameplay features.

This is not of course our only goal - the idea of the total-conversion was inspired by an art piece by Godwin that showed the cruelty and bitter humanity of the Tiberian conflicts - of soldiers who were not only soldiers but men and women who were human, of environments that felt alive with their vibrancy.

We want to inject that into Tiberian Dawn. This same level of vibrant emotion, of humanity and struggle against a frightening opponent (Be it GDI or Nod in your mind) while trying to accept the changes to the world that Tiberium has brought.

It is not an easy task we have set ourselves - and we are all dedicated to working to the best of our abilities.

It's finally here everyone the full release of the Tiberian Dawn Mod.

The A.I has been fixed and is now fully working on all difficulties without any crashing problems.

However please note that the A.I will not work on custom maps.

What? That's it? You consider this a full release? Don't get me wrong however I'm glad this one finally saw the light of day, but there is one more thing to be done i think the building animations. there is no difference between newly build or damaged one. I have situation when my ConYard was being attack by Ion Cannon and I didn't notice that because buildings always look the same,thats confusing.
Thaere is nothing else to be done,the mod is great, maybe the Ion Cannon could stay original.

Sorry mate, but the destruction animations build up animations and the texture's are taking allot of time. I never got this task on my, but I took it anyway, so the issue's you mentioned are fixed. This is a small dev group, with some veteran Tib Wars modders and some new one's. So give them some slack on this issue k ;).

I don't know how to play the mod , I copied the files as in the readme.txt and then I launch the game normally & I spot no changes, how could I launch the mod ?!

Don't launch the game by normal means, that just starts the base game. Open the Tiberium Wars Control Center application, go to Game Browser, select Mods, Tiberian Dawn and then click Launch Game. That should do it.

If you're running the disc version, load the game up from your disc. Game Browser should be there.

Alternatively you can:
Right-click your C&C3TW; icon/shortcut -> Properties -> Shortcut Tab. Where it says 'Target', add -ui.

For Example:
Target: "C:\Games\C&C - Tiberium Wars\CNC3.exe" -ui

Run the game again by double-clicking on the shortcut and Game Browser should appear.

yeah I launched it worked but when I chose the mod the game opened normally and I found no difference in the campaigns, how could I play the campaigns inside the mod ?!

This mod doesn't work with campaign missions, only in multiplayer/skirmish.

NOTE: Don't select random, select either GDI or Nod.

You are confusing it with the mod on C&C Generals Zero Hour. Thats the one that has some (not all) of the missions remade.
