For me Normal looks alot better.
both sheld could be an upgraide
the energized armor looks way better now than that shield.

maybe somthin where u have the option to buy it in each tank instead of a permanent thing like the rail guns
Left one is better, but maybe give Mammoth the armor on the right when the Mammoth is heroic?

Energized is win
if the energized have some kind of animation with sparks and such (you know like the tesla coils when they are charging) I vote for them.
Would be cool if you could upgrade them individually for either normal or energized armor, and the normal gave them better solid state weapon defense, and the energized gave better energy weapon defense.

interesting, the right one looks as if GDI did reverse engineering with scriin's shield technology, cool premise, I would buy that.

How about BOTH UPGRADES? You know, make it optional. The player will be able to decide: either get the normal armor or energized. That way, everyone is happy.

Then It'd be a Shield. Energized armor is adding extra Protection to Vital areas on the Tank.

Yeah it definently looks good.
And I'd have to say: Another reason that energized armor goes better that a shield that covers the entire vehicle is that the armor as it is would probably eat up power like nobody's business, so having a whole shield would be completely worthless without power generating systems on the scale of the Scrin's.
I just noticed... the tracks don't have a texture :P
