You can upgrade it to a bombtruck. If it goes up near Tiberium-based stuff, that blows up too, Catalyst Missile style. But it looses its ability to harvest Tiberium, and if possible, I'll make it possible to upgrade only when it's full.

This gives so much videogame cruelty potential.

Like making it harvest a tib field nearby the enemy's base and then make it blow up near their tib refinery or silos.

But if the cost of a single harvester is 1400 + "upgrade" cost this tactic will be more useful for Pyrrhic victories and desperate situations, specially when fighting the Scrin since they are all tib based lifeforms and structures and would take the kick harder than GDI and even Nod itself.

Hmmm, but adding a area denial type explosion would be nice too, like contaminating the area with corrosive tiberium that deals damage to infantry and vehicles over time, could make the bomb harvester a much more viable tactic.

I thought about it leaving some catalyst behind which would make any tiberium-using unit or structure that comes into contact with it explode violently :P

Well, if you can't force it to be full first, you can have the upgrade drain resources as it progresses in order to fill the harvester. Or, you could do both: the harvester upgrades faster when full, but can drain funds to fill itself when empty or not quite full.

Reminds me of a interesting tactic from TibSun: load up a Harvester with Blue Tib, send it to the enemy's base, and insta bomb truck =P

No stealth? Another thing would be to have a subterrainean harvester.

Bomb harvester for the win. Does it retain its stealth when it's upgraded? Because that would be just plain nasty.

I don't know yet, I would like to keep the stealth however, since this harvester is more fragile than the GDI harvester.

Hey Helge, is there any possibility of a sequel mod to this being made for KW? I realize that it's a bit early to ask, since work on this one isn't even done, but do you have any far off plans for anything like it?

To the contrary, I don't think I'll continue modding after TA at all, but look into indie games instead.
