Based on both, the CnC4 Marrauder buggy and the Batmobile.

As armament it has 2x twin .50cal machineguns, which can be upgraded with blue Tiberium core ammo.

Certainly better than C&C 3's open-air Raider Buggy, but it looks unnecessarily bulky. I'd suggest recessing the area around the cockpit and turret and thinning out the midsection a little. EDIT: I've found the problem! The front tires are too thick, and this contributes to a bulky feel. Maybe halve their width?

On a side note, now that C&C4 concepts are starting to creep in to this mod, I'd suggest possibly using the Sheppard for a GDI tank, possibly equipped with either a small anti-infantry railgun or perhaps a trio of 40mm autocannons.

The Aftershock didn't have a horrible design either, but it doesn't fit TS Nod too well. I can see it as possibly a GDI hovering mortar carrier, but if you use it is up to you.

Also, take my criticisms with a grain of salt: I'm not a professional modder by any stretch of the imagination, so feel free to ignore my posts if you feel I'm wrong, or if (God forbid) I'm actually wrong. I'm just trying to help, after all.

Wow, long post!

ur post is too long and u didnt really say any :(
also its ment to be bulky as it was based on the Batmobile(which is bulky)
i think it looks perfect and i cant w8 to see it with textures

It's not the tires, it's the fact that I made the chassis bulky, I wanted a slighly more sturdy buggy than the papercar from TW. And making the tires thin is a bad idea, I suppose it should drive on dirt, not on rails :P

im pretty sure youve said a few times this isnt a TS time era mod but a continuation yet people keeping thinking it is TS. makes me chuckle. the design is pretty cool i mean the batmobile was a tank essentially though i think more in the IFV class than MBT class which since its anti infantry is fine.

It's nice, I like the design and it's a solid model, but it is quite bulky, and the price tag and armour should reflect that :P

I like it.

But please add in the Centurion unit from CnC4 As their awesome and have an energy shield on their wrist plus plasma cannon.

their really effective and fill a different role from the avatar as they are designed to Directly confront enemy tanks including the mammoth tank able to take acouple shots they provide good cover/shields.

Hell no, I hate the centurion, it's ugly as hell. What role would it have anyway? Nod has everything covered and planned by now.

Also walkers for Nod is no-no in my opinion.

I preffer the CnC4 Avatar, then again, Nod isn't going to have any mechs in TA (Cyborgs excluded).

Directly confronting superior enemy armor has never been anywhere in Nod's tactical doctrine. Even their MBT, the Scorpion Tank, was designed to be fast and outflank the slower GDI Titans, Predators and Mammoths. Other than that, they've got sneaky Stealth Tanks and stealthed Vertigo Bombers, hit-and-run Beam Cannons and now some epic Banshees that rip apart enemy armor in devastating sneak strafing attacks.

The only misfit is the Avatar, which was EA's attempt to pander to newbies that complain that Nod is weak and lacks heavy hitters.

Nod's style is not large walkers with huge, highly visible lasers, shields and plasma cannons. They are more discreet than that.

And anyways, isn't the Centurion just a GDI Titan with a shield?

EDIT: Ninja'd by Helge himself. Glad we're of the sane opinion.

THANK YOU! Glad that SOME people around here know what Nod is supposed to use and what's a no-no.

I am curious though, Helge. What will Nod have as their "main event." Walkers and other stick-out-like-a-sore-thumb units are out, so what do they get?

Well, I plan to keep Nod mostly low profile, so they probably get a mobile stealth generator and most certainly a few sub-t unit.

This New Buggy Is Nice. The Machine Gun Is Just Plain Epic... I Guess it Combines Nod's Sleekness and a Bit of Bulky Protection. If you Keep makin units like this you'll Give me a Good Reason to Play Nod sometimes! XD

the only walkers nod should have are cyborgs and the cyborg commando but even they arnt really walkers. if both sides had walkers you might as well make the game a mech commander game. though i always hated how slow they moved.

Cyborgs are fine, they are just infantry, but 2-story-high walkers really doesn't fit Nod's low profile hit and run style, more GDI facepunch steamroll tactics :P

whats "replacing" the avatar? of course its not taking the same role thats why the quotes. actually the cyborg commando could replace the avatar since it had same amount or better firepower

The Cyborg Reaper Should through the Nets Like in Firestorm (I Know I Know Your Not making a Tiberian Sun Squeal XD ) That would be better then Tiberium Essences Crappy Mortars.

I intended to give the cyborg reaper a sort of AOE stunner, which would disable vehicles and infantry in a small area.

It's supposed to be heavy, it (from my understanding at least) was designed as a heavier, better armored replacement for the flimsy, unreliable Raider Buggy.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Helge.

It's super cool)But I don't like the cockpit((( Think it would be better without the glass/wind shield at all. Just pure armor (maybe it will work out like the alien (it's more frightening without yes the designer said)))))

No,no,no, I didn't mean that awful C&C 3 style!!! I meant well, like a modern tank. Just ARMOUR, flat plate, ARGH !!! XD ))) And some small periscopes to observe the battlefield (they can look like some insect eyes) It will give a feeling of a really heavy vehicle like Italian Puma: Army-technology.com
