Fire = Exothermic chemical reaction.
Plasma = Excited ionized gas.

They are not the same thing.

Wow, this model looks exactly like the TW2 and I'm sure it will look great after the renders.

Actually no, the exothermic reaction generates the fire, which is in fact a plasma.

Yay plasma arguments! I've seen this before!

In other news, the model looks suitably devilish.

That is not quite right, fire would become plasma only when it becomes so hot the gases start loosing their electrons binding and acquiring charge.

Other than that fire is just heat, excited gases and solid matter releasing light of several different spectrum depending of what is being burned, resulting in the flame.

And since when has this mattered in a video game? He could make a tank that attacks by farting explosive, cybernetic cows out of an *** mounted cannon if he wanted to.

Good question actually, I think it was a Gamecube game called 'XG3 Racing' where there was a 'weapon' that consisted in a backwards facing plasma flamethrower that at the same time was a booster.

It is somewhat funny that the Firebats from Starcraft actually fire plasma "flames" on their enemies.

Are the Flamethrowers placed at the sides of it ?
The Devil Tongue got his name because of the flametongue gettin out of his "mouth", didn't it ?

However, I really like the model and i hope that the plasmaidea will be applied on some other Nodunits :-)

instead of plasma upgrade, you could just do specialized napalm upgrade. just throwing that out there. ooh, and if you do happen to do that, could you make the fire sorta tint blue? i like playing as a blue nod :3
