After the recent server failure, we finally have our forums back up and running. We ask that, since they're back, you please first post/check for bug reports for Ascendancy in this thread before posting them here, since in ModDB's comments.

So I'm playing as New Republic in the Art of War campaign. I killed Isaard and successfully advanced to Era 2. Now, I've killed Thrawn, and it hasnt advanced me to Era 3. Is my max Era 2, even though the Art of War campaign states its Era's 1-5? Is there some other condition I'm not aware of? I've read through the manual, and it, as well as in game indicate that in order to advance Era's I must kill the leaders listed. I've done so, yet no advance.

Was it the Imperial Thrawn or Empire of the Hand Thrawn? There's an issue where EotH's Era 1 Thrawn hero doesn't de-spawn properly after era 2 starts, however killing the EotH one will not make the era progress, since it's entirely based on Imperial leaders (and he's not meant to be there in the first place)

Just the Imperial one. Imperial leaders are the only thing relevant to era progression.

Thx for a nice mod. I like the models, effects, game looks beautiful, but there is something wrong with AI. AI don't build new units, space or land. In my campaign New republic have 800000+ of credits and low number of units. I'm in first era.
I've even moded this mod and all weak fighters like X-wing, Y-wing, etc., now don't use population cap.

ANd I found some other bugs:
-AT-AT can drop unlimited numbers of troops. I sow in xml file the limit is 2.
-Novatroopers when you build one, after some time you are unable to build more of this troops.
-In land battles AI don't build new structures like turrets.

i had teh same problem and iam prety sure its on other mods too i fixed it buy deleting the game all the files that were left behind in uinsta and jsut did fresh insta l and downloads of mods and it fixed it

You can only have 15 novatroopers at a given time, it takes awhile after you loose all 15 to rebuild them

Hi, I'd like to know how it's possible to mod it so fighters from all factions don't use the pop. cap.
Is it possible to change that so it's save-game compatible? I am playing as the New Republic and would really like to have it affect the player AND the AI.

This change will be save game compatible and will affect on player and AI.
You need to do:
- go to XML folder in TR mod (..\Corruption\Mods\Imperial_Civil_War\Data\XML\ )
- Make backup of changed files.
- Find files like ( EotH_Space_Units.xml , Imperial_Remnant_Heroes.xml , New_Republic_Space_Units.xml , Pentastar_Space.xml , Remnant_Space_Units.xml , Yevetha.xml , Zsinj.xml ). Maybe there is more files with space units, so you will have to find it. I Change only this ones.
- in each of this file you will have to find a fighter/bomber squadron unit. For example <Squadron Name="TIE_Interceptor_Squadron"> and change <Population_Value>1</Population_Value> to <Population_Value>0</Population_Value>
Remember to find squadrons tabs only.

- save the file :)

In my submod I change only fighters/bomber squadron which cost is lover than 500 credits.

After when you load the save game all squadrons which you change will have pop cost = 0.

You can't get information about planet special abilities because most of the planets in the mod don't have them. We felt the ones from vanilla EAW/FoC didn't really make sense so decided to get rid of them almost entirely, replacing them with things like planet capture bonuses and faction-specific shipyard headquarters (details of which can be found in our manual). Hope that helps!

Great mod and with in it makes the game much more appealing and the fact that this game follows after the events of the battle of endor, makes this mod feel like a full expansion to the game as this mod is at times fells more or less like one. To me the mod seems to have put better effort into there work man then the actually developers at times. Many new factions tons of new units and a lot of new worlds, while not every planet from the original game are here it makes up for with at least 50 more…
