I've started posting my series of 2.2 testing playthroughs on my youtube channel, starting with the Empire of the Hand. I'll be doing playthroughs with most of the new content as we approach release, so if you want to see everything in action and hear me go on about random modding stuff, I'll be posting screenshots with links to the episodes every Wednesday and Saturday in the image gallery (or subscribe to see me suck at other video games with the mod team as well).

Hello! I have a problem whith the AI. When it attacks, it does it with very few units but in a matter of a game week it attack multiple times. it does not stack its units it sends them few at a time multiple times at the same planet. This behaviour is very frustating because i need to engage each time even if I have a good garrison otherwise the autoresolve will inflict unjustified damage to my fleet.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Yes I have the same problem my advice is have very few outer worlds that the enemy can attack and have the ones they can attack make fortress worlds and auto battles.

Would you make all heroes respawn in GC (as well can be recalled in Skirmish mode) after their defeat just like in vanilla game? I'm so bored if one of my heroes permanently died and cannot be recalled/respawn anymore.

The whole point of the mod is keep your heroes alive if they die thats your fault lol its not hard keeping them alive, its following the lore of the EU where when heroes died basically a new era was in not too long after.

No, that would entirely break the era system and would end with factions simultaneously having like 25 heroes.

Love the mod but there's something horribly off about it at the same time love the fact that the damage is changed and infantry are so much easier to kill and bombers are no longer a end game unit in space.

... something about the 100 planets or the 60+ planet conquests is just ridiculous and only ever half played because the AI just gives up or throws their heroes at me to die to progress the "story" as well as mentioning that the amount of fighters released is realistic but near impossible to manage.

Mods can't touch the AI in any appreciable way, and the AI can't have any knowledge of the era system. I assure you they're throwing their heroes at you not to progress anything, just because EaW's AI is ***.

Great mod and with in it makes the game much more appealing and the fact that this game follows after the events of the battle of endor, makes this mod feel like a full expansion to the game as this mod is at times fells more or less like one. To me the mod seems to have put better effort into there work man then the actually developers at times. Many new factions tons of new units and a lot of new worlds, while not every planet from the original game are here it makes up for with at least 50 more…
