After the recent server failure, we finally have our forums back up and running. We ask that, since they're back, you please first post/check for bug reports for Ascendancy in this thread before posting them here, since in ModDB's comments.

There should be an update on some of the direction for ICW 2.2 (and maybe related news for Ascendancy) as well as an overview of Ascendancy patch 0.95 soon.

Sorry about this i am obsessed with Dark forces 2 and love that you have included the Pentastar alignment so could it be possible to include Sariss in the Game so there is not just one Major Dark Jedi(Jerec)?

Is the NR Heavy Tracker based on the Imperial HAV/r A9 Floating Fortress?

Never mind, it is a separate unit, just looks similar.

They are a bit similar but only in their general shape. The existing pictures aren't really a great help seeing as they're just the schematics.

If you compare these pictures the differences are pretty obvious, though.

Yup, definitely different. I had never actually seen a picture of the Heavy Tracker before outside of this mod, then I saw both the Fortress and Tracker on wookiepedia and realized it was just a coincidence.

Thanks Corey, everything looks great. Can't wait!

Is it possible for you to make it so "Hunt for Enemies" isn't affected by nebulas? It's just EXTREMELY annoying to have to micromanage every single squadron, especially in larger battles, because there's nebulas in the area causing them to not autoattack.

Also, I'm pretty sure this is a glitch, but the enemy factions constantly attack one of my planets, switching planets occasionally, with several ships, or even ground troops, at a constant rate. This makes me unable to do anything for up to 10 minutes at a time because I'm getting attacked about every 10 to 15 seconds or so. Is there a way to fix this?

Other than that, it's an amazing mod. Huge amounts of detail throughout, and the galaxy map with all the planets is extremely fun and challenging.

There's nothing we can do about the Hunt behaviour, that's part of the original game that can't be gotten rid of. As for the loop attacks, it's something we've been paying a lot of attention to in the beta. As it is from all the data we have it seems to happen between 1 and 3 times per GC now which is a huge decrease from 1.3. In general you're dealing with much better composed fleets. It's not strange to get hit with fleets with a pop cap of anywhere from 50 to 150, split between multiple types of capitals, frigates and corvettes.

That alone makes this mod 100% more playable. Now it won't take me a week to finish Art of War and the battles will be more decisive :D

It will almost certainly be the last major version of Imperial Civil War, however there will probably be a few smaller patches.

Great mod and with in it makes the game much more appealing and the fact that this game follows after the events of the battle of endor, makes this mod feel like a full expansion to the game as this mod is at times fells more or less like one. To me the mod seems to have put better effort into there work man then the actually developers at times. Many new factions tons of new units and a lot of new worlds, while not every planet from the original game are here it makes up for with at least 50 more…
