Imperial Civil War 2.0 Hotfix 2
Nov 25, 2012 Patch 16 commentsSecond hotfix for ICW2.0. Requires an unmodified installation with Hotfix 1.

The Imperial Remnant comprised the regions of the galaxy still under Imperial control following the Emperor's defeat at Endor.

The New Republic was established by the Rebel Alliance to replace the Galactic Empire following the Battle of Endor.

The Empire of the Hand was founded in secret by Grand Admiral Thrawn to explore the Unknown Regions.

During the fragmentation of the Empire, the Pentastar Alignment was formed of fourteen sectors in the outer rim.

Several active smaller factions have been added to the game, including the Hapes Consortium, Duskhan League and Imperial Warlords.

New scenarios have been created, allowing exciting new gameplay in each era of Thrawn's Revenge.

Thrawn's Revenge has been completely redesigned from the ground up to give new aesthetics and playability.

Thrawn's Revenge uses a unique era-based advancement system, replacing the traditional technology system.

Great mod and with in it makes the game much more appealing and the fact that this game follows after the events of the battle of endor, makes this mod feel like a full expansion to the game as this mod is at times fells more or less like one. To me the mod seems to have put better effort into there work man then the actually developers at times. Many new factions tons of new units and a lot of new worlds, while not every planet from the original game are here it makes up for with at least 50 more…

Forgive me, I'm not very much into modeling stuff.
Well, good to hear. In most mods textures are crappy, while in yours they absolutely rock, though, in my opinion, it could use similar remake you are going to make to ISD in 1.1. That is only my opinion though, I'm not offending any of your modelers.
Really? The textures in this mod are pretty sub-par. Especially with the Empire of Hand units. Sorry, the gameplay is fantastic though. But when you have to look at some of the ugliest units ever to cross a game... it's sad.
I don't mean any offense though; I've no idea whether they're unfinished textures or...
Most of the EotH units were made quite a while ago, when the team was still in the process of refining their skills. Most of the ships will be redone in one way or another in the patches. We would have worked on improving them in the first place, but we were really just eager to get it over with. This mod has been in production for a long time, and if we went and redid everything we thought was bad in it we would never have released. So now that it's out we can focus on improving it. Feel free to specify which units you think are really bad, and why you think so though.
It's just the Empire of Hand units I think need some minor texture work; because right now they're so bland. They look... underdeveloped? The game is great though, don't get me wrong- you guys have a fantastic thing going on.
No problem, it's just a little difficult to know exactly what you mean. Textures/skins are the things that go on the models, essentially the paint job and details like that. The model is the actual mesh. Textures could be described as low resolution, models can be said to be low poly. So I'm not sure if you're saying the EotH models lack detail, if the skins do, or both. Either way, you can look at the new Chaf and see the general standard we're going for for their models now.
Are you planning on updating EoTH ship textures? Or are they intentionally low-poly?
By the way, I solved the issue. Used the Nvidia panel override option. Thanks to anyone who tried to help.
Textures can't be low poly.... And in the update we specifically say we're redoing a lot of the EotH stuff.
Im having trouble launching. I will boot the game, and it comes to a black screen, I've repaired my installation and installed 2 times. Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium, probably the root.
Try installing the 64 bit FoC patch for Vista/7.
Right after i posted, i re-searched for diffculty help, and I installed the 64 bit patch.
