I thought Rogue Squadron was going back under Wedge Antilles in 2.2?
I remember reading the X-Wing series and the 'Bacta Pirates'.
Some of my fondest SW reading memories.
I spotted some extra named Mon Cal-cruisers like the "Phoenix" in the starting forces which have their own spot in the fleet list.
Are those GC-specific minor heroes or just named "variants" of the default units that are placed in the GC-setup?
They remind me somehow of the old Star Wars: Rebellion 4X game where each ship had its own name and place.
They're variants made for patrons of my channel specifically for the playthrough, they're not part of the mod per se (they won't be in it upon release)
Ah I see, well, it certainly adds a certain individuality to the fleet.
It is somewhat a shame that the engine doesn't allow players to actually give the ships they build a distinct name.
Many other Space Strategy games allow this and while EaW does have those "shipname"-files in the gameconstants.xml those function only correctly in skirmish.
In GC the game doesn't keep track which names are already used from the list and thus one gets doubles and triples of the same names.
Ah one of my favorite book series of all time!
stopped watching when you got Luke killed keep your heroes separate from other units and when on half help pull them back, I personally stopped watching on the grounds that a New Republic campaign without Luke is a campaign that is lost, also make the AI use jedi heroes better and not just leave them garrisoned, it makes them too easy to kill
