Thrawn's Revenge is a large-scale mod for Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It includes the events of the Galactic Civil War after Palpatine's death at Endor, up until the signing of the Pellaeon-Gavrisom treaty. If you own the Steam version of EaW, you will have to complete extra steps to run the mod after installation. Please see the manual for these steps.
Most of what we're doing is currently not very visual, hence the lack of screenshots, but we've got some stuff going on in the background.
We (by we I mean Pox) have been working on a script to randomize the levels ships jump in on, so each instance of a ship class isn't always on the same level. This has been done previously in other mods with some story scripting that cycles between unit variants, but those tend to limit the possibilities, wouldn't work super well with era changes, and also tends to make selection a hassle. This alleviates those problems. It may have unintended side effects if larger ships end up in the middle, but we've chucked all Supers under everything else so that shouldn't be an issue, and that's what testing is for.
Finally! :D
Awesome!!! I love random stuff!
Still waiting for smaller laser particles.
Considering we've already announced and posted pictures of that...
Oh yeah,my bad...
corey a new patch? or just pic
Oh, you managed to do it without dummy variants entirely? Entirely randomized is new, must've evolved a bit from what was posted on everythingeaw then. Mind posting the script there so others can use it too?
Nope this is still the same I've posted on everythingeaw.
Ah, from the description I thought the whole thing was entirely randomized now. Still, it's been great having the ships on different heights, have loved it ever since you brought it out ;)
I seem to recall the RaW folk trying to have this, but something didn't work right, and they ended up retiring the idea for later. I hope they see this and try and add it again.
I'd love to see this in both these mods, and perhaps others down the line.
Nice Job! :)
MOD IS ALIVE!
And if super where not under everyone else *hyperspace sig detected* annnnnnd smashed into the hull of a SSD heck of a way to lose a fleet.
Looking more polished with every update.
Looking forward to a release date for 2.2 :)
