Thrawn's Revenge is a large-scale mod for Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It includes the events of the Galactic Civil War after Palpatine's death at Endor, up until the signing of the Pellaeon-Gavrisom treaty. If you own the Steam version of EaW, you will have to complete extra steps to run the mod after installation. Please see the manual for these steps.

Looks like a wallpaper. Does anyone agree with me when I say that Thrawn's Revenge is slightly better then RAW? My opinion anyway.

It depends from which piont of view you are looking at; if you like thatclone wars the RaW is better, but if you rather the new republic, or anything that happens after that 6th episode then thrawn's revenge is better. I like both a lot!!

Yeah. But I like TR more since it adds not only a new faction that I never heard about and looks really bad ***! in RAW (which is good too) there are many little flaws which kill it for me. Going to wait for a bug fix.

EDIT: @Vegas: True.

I think RaW is a pretty great mod, and does quite a few very ambitious things. I've enjoyed playing around with it. But nevertheless, I agree with Verda in that there are a bit too many small flaws for it to be a true masterpiece, imo (not to mention the immense lag).

In my personal opinion, the graphical improvements alone in TR are enough to put it above RaW. They've got quite a few improvements to make in that area.

They are both masterpices of moding. No need to say one is better than the other. Just my opinion. (In my usually bad english. ;P)

@ Raven,
wanted to give you Karma and it abstract it from you. Sorry. ;(

I think the lag in RaW steps it down.

But is 1.2 available to download, yet?

Nope, they're Phalanx-class destroyers (Empire of the Hand).

Stop trashing other mods here please guys. This mod and RaW are both great mods, with great team members, and a great deal of work put into them.

They're not trashing RaW; it's a great mod as well. What they were saying was that there's alot of problems in RaW that kill it for them (immense lag in GC, AI bugs, some unbalance).

If anything, they're asking for a new patch for RaW.

Med8r Jun 17 2011 replied:

Exactly. Don't get me wrong; I like RaW. Like I said above, it's an ambitious mod, that succeeds in many ways. I think its land models, some of its space models, and sound effects are particularly good.

We're not trashing RaW by any means. We're just honest enough to point out its weaknesses as well as its strong points (in comparison with TR's). Nothing trashy about that.
