Instructions for non-steam user or steam user with problems:
1.Copy your valve folder
2.Download and install pak exploler
3.Extract all files of they hunger into your valve folder
4.Open the they hunger paks and extract them in the valve folder (click yes to all)
5.Play and have fun
6.If you have WON version all you gotta do is change game without doing any of the instructions (1/5)..

Many thanks for this! But has anyone played it all the way through successfully? I haven't played TH in a while, and decided to load it up in Steam using this fix. However, I can't get past they53 in Part 3. I've opened the hatch to exit, got in the helicopter and it's just about to reach the surface when I die. I've tried moving to different parts of the chopper, crouching, etc., but nothing works. It's as though I've been crushed by something.
I can't remember this being a problem before, so I wondered if there was something in this Steam fix that wasn't quite right. Anyone else had a problem here?

Funny how all these old comments say how to download when nowadays all you do is drag the folder into the hl1 folder lol (or you put it in and extract)
