Read the F.A.Q! I didn't make it for nothing: Here

To begin with, there will be four factions. These will be Gondor, Rohan, Isengard, and Mordor. We are really looking forward to including lots more factions, like Elven factions, Dwarven factions, and perhaps Harad/Rhun. Eriador is a possibility too! Pretty much, we aim to place you into Middle Earth, to do with as you see fit. There are only four initial factions simply because we want to finish the initial version, and allow you to play it.

The mod will be split up into multiple modules. Each module representing a different race. This means that if you want to play as a human and defeat Mordor you would have to select the Men of the West module. Men of the West will be the first to be released.

We will be spending a lot of time on making the map.
The area of Middle Earth that it will (initially) cover. In later releases, more of Middle-Earth will be accessible.

South of Gondor will also be included to open up new opportunities to the player, in the form of Haradrim/Corsairs-of-Umbar invasions.

Overrall, thank you ever so much for reading.
Please stay tuned!

I am raring to get started on the corsairs, though, so I'll keep this brief. Cheerio!

I can see that this has some REAL nice potential!
Will you make Haradrim/Rhûn a playable "faction" thats connected/part of mordor? so you could like recruit easterlings and such and serve under the dark lord? For roleplay reasons. (I just LOVE harad and Rhûn)

As always - Good job! I'll be keeping an eye on this and following this! :) for now i'll have to settle with BiTW ;)

Harad and Rhun will be playable when their module is released. Currently we're still working on the Men of the West module, in which you can play Gondor and Rohan. After Men in the West is finished development on Servants of Sauron starts (name still W.I.P.). When this is finished we'll start on Harad and Rhun. Rhun/Harad will be allied to Mordor, so you can aid them in their fight.

a n00b question, but, how the hell are you going to get giant *** trees to walk? isn't there a height profile & restriction? & if you can, won't it be buggy & glitch & they will walk funny?

Nope, they work fine. For M&B we can't make race specific animations, but we can make race specific skeletons and hitboxes. So things like trolls, ents, orcs etc can work.

Let's hope that for Bannerlord we can make custom animations for races. That way we can really do some cool stuff!

sooo....isn't it to early to make plans for it from now?I mean as far as i know the mod can be long done until bannerlord is out(if it comes out).I wouldn't place my hopes of extra features on it ( :) )

Oh, the only plans for Bannerlord are that we sure as hell are gonna make TVS for it. We will of course continue development on Warband full speed until that happens.

They will have their own custom skeleton. So it won't be buggy, same goes for trolls.
