Read the F.A.Q! I didn't make it for nothing: Here

To begin with, there will be four factions. These will be Gondor, Rohan, Isengard, and Mordor. We are really looking forward to including lots more factions, like Elven factions, Dwarven factions, and perhaps Harad/Rhun. Eriador is a possibility too! Pretty much, we aim to place you into Middle Earth, to do with as you see fit. There are only four initial factions simply because we want to finish the initial version, and allow you to play it.

The mod will be split up into multiple modules. Each module representing a different race. This means that if you want to play as a human and defeat Mordor you would have to select the Men of the West module. Men of the West will be the first to be released.

We will be spending a lot of time on making the map.
The area of Middle Earth that it will (initially) cover. In later releases, more of Middle-Earth will be accessible.

South of Gondor will also be included to open up new opportunities to the player, in the form of Haradrim/Corsairs-of-Umbar invasions.

Overrall, thank you ever so much for reading.
Please stay tuned!

I am raring to get started on the corsairs, though, so I'll keep this brief. Cheerio!

Hi lads, Ravo here! ;)

Since Jarvy is back, we've been busy with developing 0.4 (well, he's been. I just modelled a few things here and there, minor stuff really). So far I've been slicing and stabbing all the bugs I came across in 0.4 (and there were only 6, surprisingly) and I just decided that after a hard bloody battle against the Ents, it's time to show the community the beauty of 0.4!

Fangorn, my fellow Men, Orcs, Uruk-Hai, Elves, Goblins, Dwarves and Hobbits!

Now be patient, TVS is comin' to town... ;)

Commander000 said to say something here to raise morale, so here I am...

Hey guys, this is my first post back.

I have been back in action for 3 days.

Basically, without going into the whole sob story and boring you, I had some really bad luck the last few months, suffered really badly from depression. Unfortunately when I'm stressed or upset, I tend to cut myself off from people, or anything I deem fun, until I've fixed what's stressing me. It's not a conscious thing, I just can't stop myself.

Anyway, I've managed to come out of it all relatively unscathed and incredibly fortunate. Things are looking better than ever now.

In the 3 days I've been back, I've:

Reviewed the state of the mod.
Edited orientations of some map icons, finishing map icons for the new map and implementing them
Made 8 new early game armours - 4 for Gondor and 4 miscellaneous.
Implemented the new sound effects I made for the mod. Nothing too fancy, just removed some immersion-breaking sounds.
Implemented new, way better quality sounds for orcs, uruk-hai, trolls and ents.
Implemented 8 new hairstyles.
Implemented some new face textures to give a refresher from Native
Fixed a couple bugs in my code
Finished the campaign map!!!1!1!1!!!11!!1one

Right now I'm working on a way to display labels on the campaign map, so that when you zoom out, names such as "Gondor", "Rohan", etc, appear on the map, but when you're zoomed in they don't. I've nailed the theory behind them, now I'm just creating the textures and coding them in. It might not be done today though - off out for a date in an hour!

Have a brilliant evening everyone!
