Read the F.A.Q! I didn't make it for nothing: Here

To begin with, there will be four factions. These will be Gondor, Rohan, Isengard, and Mordor. We are really looking forward to including lots more factions, like Elven factions, Dwarven factions, and perhaps Harad/Rhun. Eriador is a possibility too! Pretty much, we aim to place you into Middle Earth, to do with as you see fit. There are only four initial factions simply because we want to finish the initial version, and allow you to play it.

The mod will be split up into multiple modules. Each module representing a different race. This means that if you want to play as a human and defeat Mordor you would have to select the Men of the West module. Men of the West will be the first to be released.

We will be spending a lot of time on making the map.
The area of Middle Earth that it will (initially) cover. In later releases, more of Middle-Earth will be accessible.

South of Gondor will also be included to open up new opportunities to the player, in the form of Haradrim/Corsairs-of-Umbar invasions.

Overrall, thank you ever so much for reading.
Please stay tuned!

I am raring to get started on the corsairs, though, so I'll keep this brief. Cheerio!

It's currently on a hold. It will continue development when Bannerlord is released. That means the next release will probably be for Bannerlord.

En of course. It's a pity that I just begin learning computer programming(I will major in CS in university). If I had more skills on coding, I would be willing to do anything to help you with this MOD.

Although I'm so sad to hear the news that this MOD will not be released in Warband version, I still have hope on the future of this MOD. The Bannerlord will bring us a lot of new functions, and the LOTR MOD based on the Bannerlord will surely be amazingly fantastic. (The sad thing is, I'm going to university a few month later, so I don't know whether I'll have time to play this MOD in the future).

lol people will be mad now because they have to wait like always, but when they get to play this mod on bannerlords they will be very happy indeed. This is worth the wait and another reason to want bannerlods even more now, very good idea jarvy.

Two questions. Since the maps in Bannerlord are going to be significantly bigger than Warband, will we see all of Middle-Earth together instead of one segment of it at a time? And will sieges be more diversified instead of one ladder or one gate? Like multiple siege towers and ladders and a gate? Obviously Bannerlord will have improved sieges but will you upgrade it into your own way?

1. The goal of the veiled stars is to cover the entire map of middle earth and its factions. We always planned to cover the entire map in 1 module, but we are releasing them per 1 or 2 factions. Whenever a new faction is finished, all modules will be updated untill they are complete. So yes, you shall see all of middle earth together in one module, but you can only play 1 or 2 factions per module.

2. That depends on what bannerlord is giving us. According to the dev blogs there will be multiple siege engines per siege scene. So this will surely be added. If it has to be modified, it gets modified. Of course there will be proper siege scenes for castles like minas thirith/helms deep etc.

I hope this anwsered your questions.
