We have made it that they can also run people over -> probably dead.

They are awesome, but will there be a limit for recruiting them ??

And there has indeed been a discussion on this, but no clear result.

What you set them to a certain group, IE 'Archers'? I have no clue how the M&B coding really works yet and that probably wouldn't work but food for thought.

aren´t they a bit too small? or is it this way because larger size would cause problems?

This is just a test model. So they aren't finished.

let me show you my respect then ;) I imagine it was probably very hard to get them in game. and your artists did make a great job too! just some tweaks to the tusks and I´ll be speechless...

Good Lord man, while a full-sized Mumakil would be awesome, that would just plain render any opposition moot, don't ya think? The Mumakil from the movie could literally wade through hundreds of troops without much issue, and with Warband's rather small armies in comparison to most of the ones from LoTR, all it would take is for one to sit down and completely wipe out an entire lord's army!

we could just download warband battle size changer turn it into a 500 vs 500 or 300 vs 300 so we get bigger battles

How many computers you think can handle 500 vs 500 without lowering most graphic setting to crap mode? And even 500 men would be easy if they match what I saw in the movie.

Think of this:

Following the developper's previous statements, one mumakil + its archers will be a single unit; thus they will be likely to die together once the mumakil doesn't have any life left (the same the elephants work in the TW series).

The Archers spawn on the Mumakil once the Mumakil is spawned, so basically they aren't one unit.

Not very related, but I was wondering (and yes I know Eriador won't be in the first release) whether hobbits will be playable, or just the usual dwarves/elves/men?
