The footage was really jerky and half the time didn't seem to focus on anything in particular. Deep space 9 looks nice tho, as do the new ships. Too bad Star Trek legacy was such a sorry excuse for a game and I returned it, or I might've tried it out.

Ok then I stand corrected - you are a Star Trek person. Pretty much every Trek game 'out of the box' is quite bad and could use improvement. Fact is Legacy made money for Bethesda, cut of course there was a deadline for release - features were cut, etc.. It's all about the dollar bill.
The Ultimate Universe attempts to pick up where the stock game left off. I would still invite you try it - and would love your comments, good or critical, after you've played a few historical missions, skirmishes with high quality models and stunning new maps, and multiplayer. It has always been my goal to make Trek games better than were at the start. I've done it with all 4 Starfleet Commands and Bridge Commander.
Look past the game - and look at what the mod represents. You should give the game a shot with the mod - then make a comment like that Scratch. Obviously you're not a Star Trek Person. A lot of time went into this - on the part of a lot of people.
Oh Chris, you can't be more wrong. Personally i'm a Star Trek fan. The difference is, i like the TV shows, not the games, since those almost always are - as L3tuc3 mentioned - not really worth buying. And don't get me wrong, i was just making fun of your type of advertising (which sounded like "Look guys, this is THE MOD!!!"), not your game.
