Well, this page is due for an update for an update I reckon, so here goes:
After 1.2 release, the team has been working full out on next gen TTR, which will be for UT2004. This means that UT development is put on ice, in favor of the new and better engine. We are currently using UT2003 engine for development, and it's progressing well, as you can see if you check out the many images in the gallery.

great idea.. few to many game utilise a health system like that and simply put it is so frustrating...
i hate getting hit in the arms five times and dying, whereas i shoot someone in the chest 4 times and they are still alive and walking around as if it never happened
oh and btw your custom logo looks great, sorry i had to edit it a touch
Heya,
thx for the warm welcome :)
The health system is locational based, as you stated a similar system is used in mech warrior. And it works just like you'd expect it to, if you're hit badly in the legs you will walk more slowly or even fall down. It can also influence your aim, amoungst other things.
I am really a sucker for war mods, i just like fighting in more realistic scenarios adds to the experience for me, so i'll definatly be following this modification with much interest, simply because it looks great
oh and just a quick question, having looked at a few images from the mod i.e. Planetunreal.com
how exactly does the health system work? Looks quite unique much like mech warrior style... good to see some creativity seeping into the creation of this mod.. keep it up!
