The year is 2006, present day in fact. As the weapons of modern warfare begin to change, the UK's government began investing in chemical and biological warfare. They wanted something deadly, effective, and cheap. They wanted something that would change the face of warfare as we knew it. I suppose some could say that in many ways they had achieved exactly what they wanted. But at prices no one was prepared to pay... The Survivors tosses the player into a modern environment located somewhere in a fictional location of the UK. As hordes of infected spew onto your position, it's up to you defend your fortification with a small group of individuals that are armed with nothing more than pistols, blunt objects, shotguns, and the will to survive. The player will rely on his team if he wishes to survive, the infected move quickly, but The Survivors can repel them if they stick together and focus all their effort on teamwork.
