About the mod: The Storm of Steel is total-conversion for Half-life², based in the trenches and battles of the First World War. How it's fought. The mod is focused on realistic infantry team-play, in real-world environments, with the possibility of vehicles, in an Incursion style game-play - it's not your standard "Capture point A then point B" game; Each map will feature different, unique Objectives that can be completed by a number of means. Merry Christmas to all!
Today is Christmas (or the first day of Hanukkah...I think), and we have a special treat in store (and has been there for some time) for you all; including renders, information and the long delayed Design Document.
As for the coding, we have released an internal alpha-test, which is coming along great, even though work has slowed down for the holiday season. We will soon be on our way to the next release, this time with new weapons and player models, and the like.
We have Jumbo Pie's British Rifleman model, the textured No. 27 grenade and a teaser of El's map Ypres.
And finally the Design Document.
For many more renders and more information, check out our website.
That about does it for today. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight.
