Q: I installed 2SW into my addon folder, but when I go ingame, I see no new era. What is wrong?

A; You likely have not installed the 1.3 patch. Click here for detailed installation instructions.

Q: When I launched my game, a popup said that I have too many missions. What is wrong?

A: Battlefront 2 can only have under 500 missions at a time. A mission, say, is Clone Wars Conquest on Death Star. You will need to remove some mods from your addon folder.

Q: Can I use The Sith Wars II with other mods?

A: Yes, but I have not tested it with every single mod. I would highly recommend you remove the original Sith Wars before using Sith Wars II.

Q: When I go to Instant Action, I don't see a Sith Wars II era, instead I see one called 'Toys'.

A: You may need to remove some other era mods. I know this will happen with the Original Sith Wars.

Q: If I remove a mod, will it be gone forever?

A: No. You can simply move a mod's 3 letter code out of the addon folder and it will not load ingame. Want it back? Just swap it back in again.

Q: How do I uninstall Sith Wars II?

A: Delete the 2SW folder from your addon folder.

Q: I see the new era, but I don't see the Korriban map. What is wrong?

A: It is in all white, and matches in with stock maps.

Q: Why do I need v1.3 to run Sith Wars II?

A: The v1.3 patch adds code into the game that modders can use. For example, it enables support for adding more eras, like the Sith Wars II. It also has many other nice features, including Free Cam, which will let you pause the battle and explore. This is how I take video for my trailers.

Q: I don't see The Sith Wars II era on some maps. Why not?

A: I did not put it on some maps. This is because they do not play well with the era. Maybe I will go back and add support for them, but not now. These maps are Hoth, Geonosis, Endor, Felucia, and Dagobah.

Q: Is this the end of your modding career?

A: Nope! I will have a lot less time to work on mods when my school year begins, but I plan to finish some maps I have started, including Sullust: Outpost.

Ok so I followed the instructions and added the 1.3 patch, and put the SW2 file into the addon folder and when I get on Battlefront 2 nothing from the mod shows up

Are you running steam version? Make sure that you have the v1.3 patch installed. You can check by going to a game. Press escape ingame. Do you see options Fake Console and Free cam? If not, v1.3 is not installed. Hope this helps

I followed all the instructions but ever time I try to run any game mode with the sith wars 2 it crashed I removed all my other mods I have the 1.3 patch and im not using a steam version please help.

Hello! When do you crash? When the game launches? When you start a map? During gameplay? Cheers

I crash when the map first loads on korriban I get to the point where it only crashed if I hover over one of the teams my game usually runs fine with mods the sith wars runs fine but not sith wars 2.

I have no mods installed apart from sith wars 2 and 1.3 patch (If you class that as a mod)

Oh and I mean it crashes on all maps not just korriban but with korriban I can get to the point of selecting a team then it crashes.

The issue was I couldnt load in and the it would cause the game to crash the fix was simple just uninstall 2sw from your computer and re install its possible some files may have not downloaded.

Just adding to that I had to re-install 3 times (twice without a moddb account logged in)

Everytime I try to play Hero Assault on coruscant it doesn't load and then it comes up with Could not open MISSION\cor1g_eli.lvl

Are you able to play other modes with the era properly?

Okay, i am running the game on steam, have for sure the 1.3 patch, and have the sith wars 2 folder in the addon folder but nothing from the mod is showing up. Im not that computer technical, and i dont know whats going wrong. And, there are no other mods installed

Go ingame on a stock map. Once loaded in, press escape. Do you see a freecam and fake console option?

Yes, i see a freecam and fake console option and assault has changed to hero assault. The 1.3 patch is installed, but nothing for the sith wars mod is showing up even though i jave it in the addon folder.
