3 Reasons:

1. Lack on interest. (I really don't like SW walkers. AT-AT is an exception though)

2. Lack of Experience. ( I never built anything with legs to date)

3. Lack of commitment. ( Leaving the part making the legs will be a massive Pain in the a**, rigging the would be a nightmare. The thought alone is a killjoy.)

And also because I was going for a Juggernautish look...

That fact that you are a living encyclopedia about airplanes is one reason, along with the fact you are a pilot. (And the fact that you also own a decent amount of firepower also played its part.)

Description

While the default variant of the Hurricane did the job in most planets, planets with severe electrostrom that makes the use of this vital piece of equipment impossible. So, rather than making an entire new design, it was decided to simply replace the repulsor engine with a wheeled one. Designated as the BM-39-T, this wheeled variant of the Hurricane entered limited production to be used in places where her hovering sister can't go.

What is this: Basically a slightly more expensive and slower producing wheeled variant of the Hurricane.

Why should you build this: Because this is you only choice if you want division flatting firepower (Other than orbital strikes) in a non-repulsorcraft useable planets.

Why did I actually built this: Someone whose opinion I respect said this will look better with tread or wheels. So I gave it wheels.
